I admit, rarely do I perverse my indulgence in chaos. I was only a humble moth, lost and wandering in the dark, but the conundrum you represented was like a sparkling candle lit upon my withered soul. Tell me, how was I supposed to resist the muse that wrote poetry to my undead heart?

life update: trying to do better this year, self care-wise. So far so good. Work is hard but I’m getting a little better at it and I’m managing my time so that I don’t work 15 hrs a day with no food breaks. I’m taking breaks now.

I go out once a week to volunteer (canvassing) and while I’m not feeling it, it gets me out of the house and walking for 2 hrs straight.

Then there’s my art hobby. Been drawing more frequently now and doing my best to enjoy original art and not the stress of fan art. Other hobby of collecting DC comics is also going pretty well.

Have been neglecting my writing, poetry, and music buuuuuut that’s a little wtv. Finding it a little hard to meditate or get a quiet zone these days. I think I’m in the consuming phase of my year cycle. Not yet bored enough to do news things/go back to do old things.

another life update: somehow it’s a little shocking when the teenhood best friend you haven’t spoken to in months comes up to ask you on discord for a family discount for his brother-in-law’s funeral after they died from cancer. just another thing that is acceptable when your mother owns a funeral home business.

and yes, they received the discount. i just feel bad that i’m too emotionally inept and used to people dying that i could only give them tragic comedic relief.

A new study has found that bats are quite aware of their limitations. They’ll often hunt in groups, piggybacking each other’s sonar to extend their range by up to 160 meters (525 ft). 

It’s kind of the equivalent to a network of Wi-Fi hotspots. The bats are effectively eavesdropping, listening out for other bats that have caught a meal and using them as guides for locating delicious insects. (Source)
