Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Chapter 64: Comments + JP-ENG translation differences

End of the month, it’s time for another blog post about the latest chapter of Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card!!

This month we deal with a very important chapter, the 64th: as the last chapter of the future volume 13, it was expected to be particularly wild and with a tremendous cliffhanger, and I have to say that on my end it has respected those two qualities quite nicely!!

It started with a super unexpected surprise, and it ended with the promise for a quite turbulent volume 14 (possibly the last one?). On the translation side, we didn’t have anything major this month scratch that there’s actually one that might cause major confusion, and alas there are several parts that need to be clarified in order to not misunderstand the characters.

Before starting, of course, we’ll give a little space to our regular feature, the GIF OF THE MONTH:

Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Chapter 63: Comments + JP-ENG translation differences

Hello!! Here we are, back again with another chapter of Clear Card! I have to immediately make a premise: this will be a different post than those you’re used to from me….it’ll be shorter, and will not feature a step-by-step long summary like usual, because in the making of this post, I lost 80% of what I wrote all of a sudden while trying to format a word in bold. Yeah, Tumblr’s beta editor sucks and this is lesson learned (and I need to write my posts on a doc first, rather than here). Luckily, I had already saved my analysis of the color page, so that one will be full in all its rambling, haha. I don’t have it in me to re-write everything, but I still want to feature my main comments as bullet-points, and point out stuff I really wanted to talk about regarding changes the ENG version made. The translation in itself is decent (although with some imprecisions) so you can read that without much problems. Now I’ll leave you to the post I originally wrote, lol.

We’re at the second to last chapter of the future volume 13! Who would’ve thought, ne? And it’s a given we’ll have at least a volume 14 too, looking at where the story is in this chapter…. Shall we begin immediately? This month I won’t drag it too long with the introduction, hahaha But before that, I think the gif of the month is mandatory, especially this one….
