science side of tumblr whats the socially acceptable way to call a person who wrote an extremely biased and inconclusive study that has been grabbed onto tightly by a pet care community a piece of shit

Hi unfortunately my new years resolution is to read a study and analyze it every day and so far every recent husbandry study I've read drips with bias and is so frustration because half of their data contradicts their conclusion

"I didn't get to interact much with my hamster for a few weeks, he's stopped following our routine and I don't see him much anymore"
Go back to bonding for a few days. Start sprinkling seeds or treats right outside of where he nests or tunnels, sprinkle them from a foot or two up so it makes noise. Tap the bedding a bit near where they tunnel or nest, scratch around in the bedding to make them come investigate. They literally will not know it was you that woke them, and it won't upset them or make them less trusting. Do it at the time you want to visit with him each evening, talk to him, and stick to that routine. Wake him at that time indirectly each night till he picks up that that time means snacks and friendship. Eventually, he'll start coming out to just the sound of your voice.
This shouldn't be controversial. This does nothing but give you oppertunities to improve your bond and enrich their lives. In the wild, random noises are going to wake them. They will investigate. If anything its a good occasional environmental stress that mimics their scavenging behavior in the wild. Please consider hamsters a companion animal in 2025, not a pet rock that you play fairy garden with.

GCE's Pretty Patrick Lunchtime (Pretty Patrick)
This black banded male is so full of life, more energetic than either of his parents! He's one of my hold backs, and as long as he remains cage content, a sweetheart who likes napping in hoodies, and fills out as nicely as he has so far (despite the bad pictures since he really doesn't stay still well for photos), he'll be a great asset to my program!
I'm hoping to cross him to some girls with winterbell pedigrees (i have a lh rex black tort who particularly interests me as a pairing for him), as they'll gain a lot in terms of size there. Main issue is maintaining and improving coat density when my very best male for this is refusing to give me any litters LOL

GCE's Cas Wizard
out of Steelcrest's Fergelicious (HetED Black Tort) and Steelcrest's Pretty Paul (long hair black banded)
this little lady is such a goof, but she's just not what I'm looking for in my program, I'll be pairing her mom to a different male and seeing if I can get a girl who better fits my needs out of that pairing! She has signifigant white faults on her neck and tummy, though she has a really small chance to be het polywhite, so its possible that's also a factor on the table.
I hope to get some really nice photos of all my adults soon to post :>

ur right, look at this baby robo and tell me how tf this thing wasn't made in a laboratory for maximum cuteness
Every time I see a hamster I think about how that's a real animal that lives on earth. How did that happen. Why are they like that

This cage is no longer in production by Kaytee, the company that bought Super Pet. Other brands have definitely mimicked it, but this post is only about Super Pet and Kaytee.
