The multi-verse, a place of infinite realities that intersect far more than one would ever know. After 1000 years, we’re back at it again. But this time, we’re new and improved with a personalized class schedule system and a school club and after school job system!

The year is 2038, exactly 28 years after the events that led SHSL Despair to bringing the world onto its knees. The world has, for the most part, rebuilt after the heads of the terrorist group, Junko Enoshima and Monaka Towa, were taken into custody and held in a maximum security prison.

The Hope’s Peak Academy for Gifted Teens has been reinstated as an institution for education and became headed by the former headmaster’s daughter, Kyouko Kirigiri. Most of the former students of the academy became educators at the institution as well, with the student body of this year sharing the same genes as their teachers.
