Okay but one of my favorite Broadway things is when you see an up close picture of a musical character/actor and you can see the little microphone they wear on their face. Like damn,,,they really always wear those huh,,,it’s so cute I love it

My experience seeing BMC in New York
I hadn’t heard “Loser Geek Whatever” yet because I wanted to hear it officially at the performance. And IT BROKE MY HEART! It was like Jeremy’s own ‘Michael in the Bathroom’ and he kept fidgeting with his hands and I wanted to hug him and let him know he was loved
It was made more clear that Jeremy truely loved Michael. He got insanely choked up saying “Optic nerve blocking on” and cried after he did it
He also latched into Michael when he found him in the bathroom, saying “It’s really good to see you”
Michael pushed him off and I swear I almost screamed
When Michael asked Jeremy if he was “his favowite pewson, he grabbed Jeremy and pulled him flat on his bed, shaking him obnoxiously
Jeremy was laughing the whole time, I ship Boyf Riends, dont @ me
Jake’s shoelaces were obnoxiously pink, I love him
During the mall scene, Lauren was dressed as an 80s workout mom
I stan a queen
George and Gerard LOVE to flirt onstage. During the mall scene, George was dressed as a peppy gay man and Gerard was this punk boy following him everywhere
They almost kissed behind Jeremy and his SQUIP and they jumped apart
Christine is the most pure human EVER
Seriously, she wore this pink, Justice-like dress during ‘Voices In My Head’ and I loved it
Jeremy and Christine kissed during VIMH, but it was a little awkward and adorable peck at first, then Christine jumped into his arms and full on kissed him
Christine and Jeremy constantly make weird faces and noises at each other
Anytime Jeremy stutters at her, she instantly starts doing it back
“I’m jokin-“”IMJEREMY!!!!!!”
When Christine was like “there’s also a part of me that wants to do this” she leaned in like she was gonna kiss Jeremy, then she jumped out of her seat and started to act like a fish
During Jake’s party, Jeremy and Christine started making baby and chicken noises at each other while howling with laughter
Christine gives Jermey a lot of hugs throughout the play
Stagedorks, amiright?
Michael walked into Jeremy’s hospital room right as Rich mentioned him and he blushed when Rich said “He’s been by like a TON”
He tore his hood off and froze when Rich asked Jeremy is Michael was his boyfriend
Michael then jumped into Rich’s view when Rich asked Jeremy if Michael was single
During VIMH, Rich slapped Michael’s ass
Michael smiled
#expensiveheadphones
When Jeremy told Chloe and Brooke that he was ‘dating’ Madeline, Chile straight up S N A P P E D a clothing hanger in half
Rip that clothing hanger
We need a funeral
Rich draws dicks EVERYWHERE
God help him
Jenna Rolan owns my ass
Seriously HER V O I C E
I died

people who live near/in NYC and get paid to see theatre/have the funds to splurge on theatre tickets really shouldn’t say you HAVE to experience live Broadway over watching bootlegs. for a lot of fans live Broadway isn’t remotely an option, no matter how much they want it to be. if those people really think bootleg watchers wouldn’t prefer to see shows live they would be dead wrong so. not to mention bootlegs don’t close shows if the people watching them can’t see the shows live in the first place. Wicked has like 80 billion bootlegs out there but it’s one of the most popular musicals in the world right now.
so reconsider your opinions if you’re of those people perhaps.

Make broadway recordings affordable and accessible.
You don’t have to sell them for dirt cheap. I’m sure most broadway fans would be thrilled if thy cost $100 or even a bit more. You shouldn’t just hand them out on the streets and broadway shows can still be something special.
However, it’s way more likely someone with a low income would be able to save up $100 for a recording instead of costs for travel, a hotel, food, the show itself, etc. and then have to take off work.
But sell recordings. Give them captions in several languages. Give them video descriptions.
Let people love musicals and enjoy them without having to result to bootlegs (that aren’t even good).
