Hey, okay this is the first time I’m sending you an ask so I wanted to say I absolutely adore your blog and the love you have for those lovely vampires, Lestat and Louis own my heart. I got the courage to write you this after I saw you last post about those awful asks, so I’m really sorry you had to go through that.

Okay, so my question is which song are your go loustat songs? I know I know it depends of the era they are on it’s the same for me too, but I just wanted to ask and you can answer whatever you want or if you feel like it.

I'm so sorry for the late response, my life has been very crazy and hectic lately! And thank you so much for the lovely words! It means a lot to me and I'm glad at least one person out there likes what I post lmao. So thank you thank you thank you!

I don't really have a lot of songs that I listen to and think "oh yeah that's Loustat." But there are two that when I listen to them I can't help but think about them. And that's Francesca by Hozier and Sweetest Devotion by Adele. I think those fit them very well!

What are your thoughts about how Claudia might continue to haunt the narrative during the new season? I feel like I can’t get enough of her and she is such a beautifully complex character. Also would love to see Delainey come back ofc!

Yes, I would love to see Delainey come back too! I was skeptical at first of them replacing Bailey, but Delainey blew me away. If they can find a way to get her back on our screens for season three, it would make me the happiest person on the planet. I love her!

I'm kind of hoping for a Dreamstat situation but with Claudia. Dreamclaudia. Or maybe they'll give us some flashbacks to NOLA Claudia. I'm not quite sure how they'll choose to go about it. All I know for sure is that she is going to be haunting Louis and Lestat for the rest of their lives. She might not physically be there, but she is always there. Trust.

I should have just kept watching the show without joining the fandom because the fans on the internet test my patience.

Some "fans" don't like the characters, the ships, the storylines, the themes, like have you considered that maybe you just don't like this show? And that you don't have to keep watching it? I don't know, it's just a thought.

This show is one of the rare instances where the cast and the writers were able to make it very clear from the start who the main ship is and that they WILL be endgame, and yet we still have fans who judge other fans for shipping said ship. It's the most bizarre thing.

Like watching the Loustat show when you hate Loustat is already unserious, but judging other people for shipping Loustat while they are watching the Loustat show is even more unserious. I just can't wrap my head around it.
