Can we talk about the timing of the chorus during Nairobi's funeral?

I always felt Nairobi felt some romantic feelings for the Professor: from casually hitting on him, to protecting his plan in the Mint, to (after finding out he is in a serious and maybe even permanent relationship with Raquel) settling to having his baby.

In this lyrical metaphor, "Y ahora sé que nunca he sido tu princesa" (Now I know I've never been your princess) she knows he will never return her feelings.

"Que no es azul la sangre de mis venas" (and that the blood in MY veins isn't blue, metaphor for royal blood), she thinks that the Professor is out of her league then - focusing on Bogota - she now settles for someone that loves her, within her league.

On the day she dies, the focus turns to those who killed her literally (police in the tent delivering the shot) and figuratively (Raquel representing the death of her having a connection with the Professor)

"Me tumbaré sobre la arena y que me lleve lejos cuando suba, la marea". I'll lay in the sand and when the tide rises, I'll be taken away.

This line conveys a very "passive" mood. In her final moments, she is lying in the sand (in the bank) with no control of her fate. The tide rises (Gandia accumulates power) and takes her away. With the security detail as an extension of Gandia, the metaphor also extends to the "waves" literally taking her away from the "sand".

Line also conveys an active passivity from the speaker to where she says "i am not in control, i've been fucked over and over so i'll just lay here" basically a reflection on how the story unfolded her death. Nairobi, the character, has no control over how the creators will run her story on the show.

On the point of when she had to choose between “Love or Fear” and because Jon Snow wasn’t as into her, she chose Fear, I completely found it disgusting. The just reduced her. The could’ve still carried on the “Mad Queen” plot without that disgusting scene.

I think the biggest thing these edgelord idiots that are vehemently defending this trash are missing is that Daenerys has never indiscriminately killed innocents. Never ever ever. It’s everything she’s against. Has she executed people? Of course! As has Jon as has Ned as has Tyrion, Sansa, Arya, Robert, Tywin. She’s only killed those that DESERVED it. Those that killed and contributed to the suffering of innocents or simply were across from her on the battle field in an act of war. This is why this makes no fucking sense. All she needed to do was fly straight to the Red Keep and take it down with minimal casualties. Instead they needed her to look horrible so they can justify killing her thus thrusting Jon/Bran/whoever the fuck into a position of power without making it look unfair. Well they failed in that miserably.

And the biggest thing that you also missed was this time, she was grieving, scared and desperate...she felt alone. In the past she was always able to contain herself because she had the support of her comrades, Jorah, or whoever was there with her. She had faced difficulties before even to the brink of death (When she was almost dying in the desert, she had her Dothraki brothers). This time, she felt she had nobody. It’s normal to feel it. That’s what happens to people when they are angry, scared and desperate. She has lost so much (her two children, her trusted advisor and voice of reason, her friend, her army) all in a short time and without the proper time to grieve and gather her wits. If you think a person, even if they are as fierce and strong as Dany, can remain sane after all that, then you have very huge and inhumane expectations over that person. Did her character deserve it? No. But does it make sense? Yes. What happens to people when they face an injustice they feel they don’t deserve? They blame it on someone or something. They lash out (like you are now lashing it out on the writers).The point is she was only being human. She was being a human, albeit with the ability to burn cities. Which was the tragic part of it.

Jon snow didnt deserve the honor of killing the NK

Jon's whole GOT story is not about fighting the NK. His story has been about him pledging to something and then abandoning it. (left his family for the Watch, abandoned the Night's Watch to fight with the wildlings, betrayed the wildlings, bent the knee and gave up the North to a foreigner, and he'd probably take the throne too even when he already pledged loyalty to Daenerys)

Arya has always been, from season 1, about fighting and killing for her family. Why were the people on her list on it in the first place? Because of what they did to her family, the people she cared about. Never gave up being a Stark. It wasn't about killing the NK for her. It was about protecting Bran, her family and Winterfell.
