Let's talk about demons and freedom
Okay, so this is something that bothers me and something I want to talk about. First, I want to start by saying I'm Demonkin, so a lot of this is based on my personal experiences and beliefs. Demons should not be associated with evil because, truth be told, not all of us are. Some are, just like humans. But the proper thing to associate us with is freedom.
Demons like me are/were free. We can do virtually anything we want, especially without God telling us what to do. Now, that brings me to what people believe freedom to be. Freedom itself is not inherently evil. Just because one could kill doesn't mean they will. Just because one's lawless doesn't mean they have no morals, especially the Hellborn—which I was. We were just born into this literal hellhole and never actually did anything wrong ourselves.
Now, I don't really mind video games pushing this trope because it does make for some interesting games. It just bothers me when Christians get angry at people for being Demonkin. Everyone has their own beliefs and experiences on this stuff, and I'll respect your opinion either way (as long as it isn't harmful to Demonkin, anyway). But mine likely won't change.
TL;DR: Demons = Freedom, Freedom ≠Evil.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, y'all! I honestly hope this year is better for everyone since I know for a lot of people things have been going downhill for a while. Regardless of how hopeful it seems, here's to a better year for everyone!

Absolutely!
First of all, hi, I'm new here. Second, I agree. This is something I've thought about a lot. If the world is so cruel, then why not try to make it better? Becoming cruel yourself only makes things worse for everyone else. We should always help one another through thick and thin. After all, we all need each other, and if we don't help each other, who will?
Now, that's not to say that everyone deserves it, but if you spread cruelty, you are no better than those who may have hurt you in the first place. But hey, that's just what I think and want to believe.
