"Passing" as a woman should not be a criteria males have to reach to be allowed into women's restrooms. Women's restrooms are for women. That's it. Those doors do not discriminate against what clothing you wear or any other social norms you adhere to. Plenty of women, including myself, barely "pass" as women. Guess what, I'm still allowed to use the women's room because it's about sex and sex only. People love to show pictures of trans people who "pass" and act like it's insane for them to use the restroom of their sex. Why is it so insane? I want to live in a world where hairy women with short hair and cargo shorts are free to use the women's restroom without harassment. Likewise, men who are GNC should be able to use the men's room with a mutual understanding that it is a male space, not a space for a certain set of archaic norms. I am genuinely so pissed off that it is unacceptable for me to punch the men I run into in the women's room, let alone say anything to them without risking my career.
