It’s 7:15 AM and the alarm has just went off for the 3rd time. You had no choice, it was time to get up.

Before you do, you slowly look to your right and smile gently as you see the sleeping body laying next you.

Your boyfriend Kita looked so lovely, his hair was a bit of a mess and his face was practically laid down against the pillow, he looked so peaceful. You couldn’t help but think about how grateful you were to wake up next to him every morning, god how you wished you could stare at him a bit more, but you were already late.

You slowly run your fingers through his hair, and whisper a soft good morning. With a big smile on your face, you stare at him for a couple seconds more before you shift your body towards the edge of the bed, with both feet on the floor you try your best to get up from bed, but before you can even stand up you feel your body being pulled back.

You chuckle as you let out a small yelp, Kita’s arms wrapping completely around you as he pulls you closer.

You can’t help but chuckle “honey, I have to go to work.”

“Just lay down here with me for a couple more minutes.” He sleepily replies with closed eyes

With your back against his chest, and his arms wrapped tightly around you, all you can do is slowly caress his hands

“Id love to lay down here forever but I’m already late.”

There’s a soft silence, as he doesn’t reply for a second.

You let out a small sigh and gently try to remove yourself from his arms again, but his grip only tightens.

“Don’t leave yet love, just 5 more minutes. Let me feel your warmth just that much longer.” Kita whines

You can’t help but give in and let out a small chuckle, you gently shift your body to face his.

As soon as he has you face to face, he opens his eyes to look at you, sleepily.

He can’t help but smile instantly, he leans down to give you a gentle kiss on your lips

“Good morning, angel.”

“Morning, love.” You reply

“I can’t believe this is the first thing i see in the morning.”

You can’t help but laugh, a bit flustered you reply, “you’re such a cornball.”

He lets out a small chuckle “what? It’s quite frightening actually.” He jokes

You let out a gasp, feigning offense and smack him lightly on his chest “let me go you jerk.” You reply As you jokingly try to remove yourself from his grasp.

“Stay, stay, I’m kidding.” He laughs refusing to let you go.

You guys laugh a bit before he speaks again “seriously tho, I love you.”

You look at him lovingly, as you lean in for a kiss. Pulling away you reply, “I love you too.”

He smiles… “enough, for you to stay here with me?”

“Mmm ok maybe not that much.” You joke

He laughs again “oh that hurts.”

You lightly caress his face “you know I do love you a lot… but I really have to get up now. I’m really really late.” You chuckle

“That’s fair, give me a kiss before you go.”

You instantly do. This kiss lasting a bit longer than the others.

Pulling apart he removes his arms from your body, allowing you to finally get up. You take one step when you feel his hand wrap around your arm once again.

He’s sitting up now, and gently lowers you so he can give you one last kiss

You giggle softly into the kiss

“Ok, that was the last one, I swear.” He smiles

You can’t help but smile. You felt truly blessed, that this was the man you said good morning to every day, couldn’t imagine it any other way, and best believe he felt the same times more.

The sound of your alarm hurt your head more than usual today. As you were trying your best to wake up, you couldn’t help but feel an annoying discomfort in your throat. Your head was pounding and you felt your body heat abnormally hotter than usual. You let out a small sigh; you were sick, you absolutely hated being sick.

Grabbing your phone from your nightstand you look at the time; 9 am, 1 hour before you were scheduled to go to work. You had absolutely no energy to even get up from your bed, so there was no doubt in your mind you were going to call off today.

Trying your best to get up the bed with this massive headache, you dial your workplace to let them know you wouldn’t be going in today. As soon as you’re done with the call, your phone dings, it was a message from your boyfriend.

“Morning princess, you off to work yet??? I’ll have extra time during lunch today, let’s have lunch together.”

You mentally groan. You did not want to tell Kuroo you were feeling bad, knowing him you knew he’d make a big deal out of everything and want to take you to the hospital or something.

Kuroo had an important presentation at work today, so you didn’t want him to shift his focus from that to you, you’d feel bad if he did, so you decide to not tell him you were feeling bad.

Grabbing your phone you make up an excuse and text him back.

“Hi baby, I actually promised y/f/n I’d have lunch with her today!! I haven’t seen her in a while so we’re gonna catch up :( but I’ll see you back at home!”

Sending the message you just hope he’d believe it without asking any questions. Yeah you felt a little bad for lying to him, but you didn’t want to worry him so this was the best thing to do.

Literally 1 minute after you sent the message you begin to receive a FaceTime call from your boyfriend. Quickly you begin to freak out, you were supposed to be ready for work right now, if you answered and kuroo saw you in bed with your pajamas on he’d know you were lying and ask why. Also your voice was too hoarse, it was evident you were sick.

So you decide no to pick up and let the phone ring. Seconds after the phone stopped ringing you received another text from your loving boyfriend.

“Princess, can you answer your phone?”

And then another text “y/n I know you’re not working yet you were responding earlier so can you please just pick up my call?”

And then another phone call, and another and another.

You were stressing out, you had no idea how to respond and the guilt started eating you alive, although you had the very best intentions you knew how upset you were probably making your boyfriend right now, which was the complete opposite of what you wanted to do. Finally after a couple minutes of ignoring his calls and messages you just thought it was best to come clean and tell him what was going on, after all you knew he wouldn’t be calm unless you did.

Again your phone rang and this time you accepted the FaceTime call, quickly you see an annoyed expression on Kuroos face, looking at you a bit confused, before he can even let out a word you speak

“I’m sorry I lied.” You blurt out, with a hoarse voice, hiding half of your face in your covers

“I’m actually not going to work today, I just feel a little sick but-“

“ You’re feelings sick?!” Kuroo cuts you off, looking back at you with a worried expression on his face

“Only a little.”

“I’m coming home right now.”

“No!” You shout out, “see this is why I didn’t want to tell you, because I knew you’d say that. You can’t come home you have that important presentation today.”

Kuroo lets out a small sigh “I know but you can’t stay home all by yourself when you’re feeling sick, I need to be there to take care of you.”

“Tetsu I’m okay I promise, don’t worry about me just focus on your job.” You give him a small smile, trying your best to reassure him everything was okay.

He’s pouting through the phone, “Tch. Fine, but please call me if you need anything.”

“I promise I will. I just need to rest, I’ll feel better soon.”

His eyes soften as he stares back at you “my poor baby, I’ll be home soon.”

You let out a small laugh “don’t worry too much about me, good luck on your presentation, I know you’ll kill it.”

He smiles back at your response, “thank you princess, I love you.”

“I love you too.”

You said your final goodbyes and hung up the phone.

You decided to get up to look for any medicine around the house, anything that would make you feel better. Unfortunately you couldn’t find anything helpful, but still you got ready to take a shower, in hopes that it would help with your headache. When you got out you felt a little better, but still felt very exhausted. You laid down on your bed, still in discomfort and pain, you couldn’t help but cry a little “I hate being sick.” You cry to yourself as you doze off to sleep again.

You’re awoken by the sound of the door shutting. Groggily looking up you notice the figure of your tall boyfriend, waking in your bedroom with a bag full of stuff.

Your head was still pounding, and it didn’t seem like your fever went down, but still a bit irritated you speak

“Kuroo what are you doing here? You’re supposed to be at work.”

Kuroo gives you a small smile as he walks towards you, reaching for your face he lays his hand on your forehead,

“You're burning up, I’m gonna go get you a cold towel.” He says, with a concerned face.

Before he can fully get up he’s stopped by you holding onto his wrist “no, you said you'd be at work, focusing on your job.”

He gives you another smile, leaning down to be at eye level with you, he holds your face into his hands, caressing your cheek a bit “I said I’d do well in my presentation and I did. But I came home as soon as it was over, I have to be here with you.”

Letting your face go he gets up again and starts walking away. Your heart melts at his words, you were in absolute love with him, his mere presence making you feel better already.

Kuroo comes back with a towel in his hands and the bag of stuff he was holding earlier, sitting down next to you on the bed he places the towel on your head and begins pulling out medicine from the bag

“You didn’t tell me what was wrong with you, so I kind of just got everything in the store.”

“That’s a lot of medicine.” You chuckle out

“I want you to feel better as soon as possible. So this is okay.” He replies with a smile on his face.

You give him another sincere smile, as you begin taking the medicine that corresponds to your symptoms

Kuroo briefly gets up, “get some rest princess, I’ll go make you something to eat in the meantime, okay?”

You gently nod as you look up towards him, reaching out to hold his hand you speak again “thank you Tetsu, I’m happy you’re here.”

He smiles down at you, squeezing your hand a bit he replies “I’ll always be here”

He leaves and almost an hour later he comes back with a bowl of soup in his hands. At this point m, you feel much better. Thanks to the medicine you took earlier, your head was no longer hurting and your fever went down.

Kuroo sits down next you, feeling your face again “your fever went down. That’s good.”

“Mhm” you nod, with a small smile on your face

“I made you some soup.”

As you try to grab the bowl from his hands kuroo slighlty nudges it away from your hold. You look at him confused, until he speaks again

“Don’t worry, I’ll feed you.”

You laugh briefly “I’m not a baby, I can still feed myself.” You try to grab the bowl again but again he snatches it away

“Let me take care of you please.” He chuckles out

Looking at him with loving eyes, you give in instantly. “Fine, only because you’ve been so sweet today.”

He smiles as he begins to feed you the soup. You couldn’t help but feel a bit flustered as he fed you. As you watch him with a giant smile on his face, you were overwhelmed with complete love, your heart felt like it was about to explode.

You loved him, loved him so much. Even if it was a bit cheesy, you were absolutely grateful at how attentive and caring he was.

Kuroo removed the plate as he finished feeding you, grabbing a hold of your head, he gives you a soft smile as he stares at you.

“Are you feeling better?”

You smile “I am now, I mean how could I not, i have the best caretaker in the world.”

He lets out a small chuckle “I just want you to be okay, I promise I’ll always be here to care for you.”

He leans down to give you a small kiss on your warm forehead. You smile in the embrace, but pull back a bit

“Be careful, I don’t want you to get sick.”

He laughs a bit again “alright. I’ll resist for now. But as soon as you get better I’m kissing you as much as I want.”

“Ok.” You respond, with a giant smile on your face.

The next morning you woke up feeling a lot better, Kuroo continued to care for you all night and made sure you were good in the morning. Leaving you food and more medicine on the nightstand, he wrote a little note “Take these and you’ll be good as new, I’ll be home soon, call me if you need anything.love u my angel.”

You smiled to yourself as you read the cheesy note. Even though you hated being sick, you were glad you could be taken care of in a way that warmed your heart. Kuroo was your soulmate, and you were completely blessed to have him care for you. He made being sick not so bad.

Knowing how clingy your boyfriend was, the concept of doing this on him was very funny

So that same night after Samu came back from work, and he was getting ready for bed you decided to go along with this small prank

Laying down next to you, he sets his phone down on the counter before noticing you’re getting up from the bed.

Looking at you with furrowed eyebrows he’s confused as to why you’re suddenly grabbing a pillow and blanket

“Baby... what are you doing?”

You look at him and give him a soft smile “oh I’m gonna sleep on the couch today.” You reply, as you continue shifting around collecting your things

Osamu literally shoots up from the bed, any tiredness he felt being complete gone now

“Wait what, why?” He asks you, now blocking you from walking any further

You try your best to hold back your laughter, and answer “I’ve just been so hot lately, I want my own space right now.”

“You’re.... hot?” He stutters out, it’s evident he’s confused as hell.

“Yeah so I’m gonna go sleep on the couch today , okay?” You say as you try to move past him again

But before you can move any further he stops you again, “baby wait.”

He takes a deep breathe before he continues speaking “so the reason you won’t sleep with me is because you’re hot, right?”

The atmosphere was perfect for you to initiate your small prank

“Shin.” You gently call out to get his attention

“Are you almost done with your work?”

“Almost baby. Why? do you feel tired? You should head over to the bed, I’ll be there soon.”

But you still tried your best to continue the prank, it was too early to break

Kita is still very evidently confused. He gets up from his chair and starts walking towards you

“Baby that makes no sense.”

“How does that make no sense babe?” You reply

“Why would you suddenly just want to sleep on the couch out of no where?”

He grabs a hold of your hands, and wraps them around his. “Tell me what’s wrong”

“Babe there’s nothing wrong I just want to sleep alone tonight. I want my own space.”

Kita let’s go of your hands and let’s out a giant sigh as he buries his face in his own hands

“You can’t say stuff like that.” He gently picks up his head to look towards you, and continues speaking “and then tell me you’re not mad.”

Your eyes soften as you look at his mildly distressed face “I’m not, really I’m not. It’s nothing personal I swear.”

“Y/n.” He gently says, “please, don’t do that. Whatever it is you’re upset about, we can talk it out, so we can be good and not have to be apart.”

“Tell me what’s wrong, and I’ll do my best to make you feel better. But don’t lie.”

You felt absolutely horrible, you didn’t want Kita to think he did something wrong

You can’t hold the prank much longer, so you instantly break

“I’m joking.” You burst out “it’s a prank I saw it on tik tok, and wanted to try it out.” You continue

Kita rolls his eyes all the way back to his head, as he lets out a sigh

You quickly catch on to his unsatisfied demeanor , and immediately throw your body at his to engulf him in a giant hug

He doesn’t fully reciprocate but you continue to cling on to him, as you giggle

“I’m so sorry love, don’t be mad I love you.”

Kita is still avoiding your gaze.

You move his head towards you, making him look at you “don’t be mad okay?”

He CANT stay mad at you, you’re so adorable when you look at him like that

But stilll he holds his ground a little “that was so unnecessary.” He states with a small pout

You smile “I know but look it was all jokes. Now, tell me you love me so we can make up and cuddle.”

He lets out a small laugh, “of course I love you, even though you play too much.”

You laugh out loud, wrapping your body against his again, as you lean in to close the gap between your lips

He fully reciprocated the kiss , pulling you towards him, seating you on his lap

Pulling away he gently holds your face “I hope you don’t do this again, I don’t appreciate being stressed.”

You laugh again “no promises.” You reply gently leaning down so you could kiss him again

It’s a good thing this was only a prank, you don’t think you’d be able to sleep without being wrapped around his arms anyway.

Daichi was so gullible, you always pulled small innocent pranks on him

Daichi loved having you near him, literally whenever you two were home you were always in each other’s presence, whether that be the bedroom, living room or kitchen, you’d be there together.

That being said, you have never slept apart from him. The thought never even crossed your mind.

So you just KNEW you’d get a reaction out of him

You two were in your shared bedroom, finishing up some extra work on your separate laptops

After you were done with yours, you slowly closed your laptop and got up from your desk

Getting up from your workspace, you decided now was the perfect time to pull this prank off

“Hey babe.” You call out

“Yeah?” Daichi looks away from his computer briefly to look at you, letting you know that you’ve got his attention

“I’m done with my work here, so I’m just gonna get my stuff and head out, okay?” Yolu reply as you shift around the room a bit

Daichi completely stops all his movements and turns his entire body towards your direction, confusion is written all over his face

“Wait baby what?? Where are you going?”

“I’m gonna go sleep on the couch tonight.”

He stares back at you blankly, it’s evident he’s very confused by your statement

“Oh.” He replies, with uncertainty “ok, well since you’re doing that, can you take my stuff too, please?”

And with that he just turns around and continues typing like before

You try your best not to laugh at his response, and keep the prank going

“Why do you need your stuff?” You ask him

“For whatever odd reason you want to sleep on the couch, so I’m coming with you.”

“No, baby I want to sleep on the couch, alone.”

He turns around fully to look at you, you’ve got his undivided attention now

“B-but why?” He asks with a small pout on his face

“It’s just, your body heat has been making me really hot so I want my own space tonight”

“I miss you.” You hear on the other end of the phone as you’re laying down on your bed, with your favorite stuffed animal wrapped under you. It’s the one Shoyo gave you on your first date, it smelled like him. As you listen to his words you can’t help but squeeze it, trying to feel his warmth without him actually being there.

“I miss you too.” You haven’t seen him in over a week, and although you talked to him every day, you still felt incomplete without him by your side.

“But 2 days from now, I’ll finally see you again.” You smile to yourself, happy at the fact you’d be seeing him soon

You can hear Hinata let out a small laugh, warming your heart.

“I don’t think I could wait another day.” He responds, his voice is calming, barely above a whisper

Your heart flutters, “awwww I feel that way too.”

“No seriously, I can’t wait.”

“So what? You’re gonna catch a flight and head over here?” You ask in a teasing tone,

But there’s no response form his end, just subtle silence. Which catches you off guard, usually he’d go along with the joke and tease you back.

“Shoyo.... you there?” You furrow you eyebrows

“I’m here.” He responds,

You let out a small laugh “you sound so serious all of a sudden, it’s kinda weird.”

Again he doesn’t respond, but before you can say anything, you hear a knock coming from your front door.

“Oh wait Sho, there’s someone at the door, I’ll be right back.”

He responds with a small “okay” before you put your phone down and start making your way to the door

“Who is it?” You briefly shout but no one responds from the other end. You weren’t expecting any visitors today, but you figured it was probably the mailman, you did frequently shop online.

You open you door, and you heart drops at the sight in front of you.

Your boyfriend was standing there, with a giant smile on his face. His hair is a little messy, and he’s in a basic white tee, and grey sweats. Although he looked a little tired, his face was beaming with happiness.

“Shoyo” you shout as you rapidly head over to embrace him. Jumping on him, you wrap your body against his and he doesn’t hesitate to grab you and reciprocate the giant hug.

With no words said, he quickly smashes his lips against yours. The kiss was rough, and passionate. He missed you very much , and you could tell he did, by the way he was kissing you now.

After a few minutes of embracing each other, you finally pull away as he sets you down on the ground, you can’t help but feel complete happiness overtake your body. Still holding you tight, you both start making your way into your apartment

“I can’t believe you’re here right now, I thought you weren’t coming until Sunday.”

He smiles down staring at you with complete love “I wanted to be with you, 2 more days was way too long.”

You laugh at his response, as you go for another hug “I’m glad you did, because I missed you.”

You let out a small gasp as you remembered something, pushing him away briefly you speak again “oh my god Shoyo the plans all ruined.”

Hinata furrows his eyebrows, “plan?”

“Yeah I planned an amazing date for when you got home.” You respond

He can’t help but smile “you did?”

“Yes I wanted to treat you, for working so hard. What time is it??? Maybe we can still do something.” You try to scramble to look for your phone but you’re stopped by Hinata, grabbing onto your arm.

Looking down at you with a smile he talks again, “don’t worry about it, being here with you is enough. Let’s just hang out here.”

You smile up at him, your cheeks hot from how flustered you felt. Hinatas smile had that effect on you, you absolutely adored it.

“Ok.” You happily agree

So that’s what you did, you ordered pizza and picked a movie to watch with your boyfriend. Spending the night cuddled in his arms, you were happy to hear how his training went, and all the new tricks and tips he learned. You always loved how passionate he was, his admiration for volleyball always impressed you, so you had no problem listening to him.

The movie you were watching was coming to an end, you were really invested, clutching the blankets form how stressed you were form the scene before you.

Hinata sat there, and instead of watching the screen he was watching you. His heart felt warm as he saw you there, he knew there was no one in the world he’d rather be with. You were amazing, your beauty was captivating and your personality was out of this world. He was in love with you, and he felt like the luckiest boy in the world because you were in love with him too.

“Y/n.”

You look over to your boyfriend “yeah?”

“I almost forgot, I got you something.”

Your lips start forming into a smile, “you got me something?”

He reached to pause the tv. “Yeah, wait I’ll bring in to you.”

You can’t help but let out a small laugh, excited to see what your boyfriend got you.

He returns with a small box, tied with a pink ribbon. Your heart was pounding, as you stare at the small box in your hands.

“Open it.” He says excitedly

You smile up at him one more time before you begin opening the small box.

Inside was a small gold necklace, with an “S” initial pendant.

You look down at it in awe, as you remove it form the box to admire it a bit more

“I don’t know if you like it, but I thought it’d look really pretty on you.” Hinata begins speaking, his hand is rubbing the back of his head, and he tries his best not to look at you, you can tell he’s completely flustered

“You don’t have to wear it if you don’t li-“

“I love it.” You cut him off, as you continue to admire the beautiful necklace.

“I’ll wear it and never take it off.” You look at him and smile

And he shoots you a big smile of his own, “you will?”

“Of course I will.”

“You don’t know how happy I am to hear that.”

“Will you put it on me please?”

He grabs the necklace form your hands and gently places it around your neck. After he’s done he sits back a bit, admiring you in the piece of jewelry he bought.

“And look...” he continues pulling something out from his pocket

“I got one for me too, it’s the same but it has your initial on it, I wanted to wear it as soon as I bought it, but I wanted to make sure you’d like them first”

You can’t help but look at him in complete awe, you felt like crying, overjoyed with the amount of love you were feeling right now.

“Can you put it on me please?”

“Of course”

You take the necklace from his hands and wrap it around his neck. You two sit there, admiring you matching necklaces with each others initial on them.

“I love you Shoyo, thank you.” You quickly wrap your arms around him, holding him tightly, and he reciprocates right away squeezing you, he responds

“I love you more than you can imagine.”

Slightly pulling away, he holds your face as he admires your face for a minute before he leans down to connect his lips against yours.

You felt butterflies in your stomach as you sayt there and kissed him. You were utterly in love with this boy, you had no idea what you ever did to deserve him, but you were grateful you were with him, in the comfort of you own home, eating your favorite food, watching a good movie, with his initial around your neck and yours around his.

You decide to ask him to buy you some snacks, the convenience store was only two blocks away, you knew he’d do it with no hesitation.

It’s been 6 weeks since you last saw Bokuto, the day you decided it was best to end your relationship. Truthfully the breakup has been hard on you. You didn’t want to let him go, he was the best person you could’ve ever been with, there was no doubt you were still madly in love with him, but your lives were changing and by the looks of it, they were going in different directions.

He was getting his career started as a professional volleyball player, being accepted in Japans national team. The day he told you, you were beyond proud, you’d seen how hard he’s worked to make it there, you had no doubt in your mind he would only strive for the best. You on the other hand just got booked for a role in a Netflix film. It was such a big deal, your first big role, it was the beginning of your new career. Acting had always been a dream of yours, so the fact that this was happening was surreal to you. Bokuto was so supportive, he cried of excitement when you told him. Both of you, were living your biggest dreams, it seemed like life couldn’t be anymore better. At least that’s what it seemed like.

A week after you told bokuto about how you needed to leave for a couple months to film, his demeanor changed. Of course he knew what this job required you to do, but he never expected to be apart from you for so long. The thought of you not being there while he was going through this new phase in his career , broke his heart, because all he ever wanted was for you to be by his side, in the stands, cheering him on. Knowing he wouldn’t get that, bothered him in a way.

After a while, he started throwing you leaving into your face. He’d pick arguments, over the littlest things and he would always find a way to mention you leaving “is this why you want to leave me?!.” “You’re leaving me so what does it matter.” The arguments would always end in you two crying into each others arms and him apologizing for his behavior. His words never left your mind though, they always stuck with you and it started making you feel guilty.

You were leaving, but that didn’t mean you wanted to leave him, you loved him with your entire heart you would never want to purposely leave. But you were doing this for yourself, the same way he’s trained his entire life for himself. Were you being selfish? Or if you decided to decline the offer and stay with him for a while would that make you too selfless?? These thoughts ran through your head way too many times, they consumed you. They were too much, you didn’t want to feel like you were holding him back, or he was holding you back. That wasn’t healthy and you were aware of that.

1 week before you were set to leave to California, you finally decided that you were being irrational. You couldn’t break up with Bokuto, you loved him and he demonstrated every day that he loved you too. You two spent that last few days together, inseparable. Aware that you two wouldn’t be able to spend time like this in a while, you decided to cherish every moment with one another, engulfed in each other’s warmth. It was reassuring, everything would be okay, it felt like you two would be okay, but then three days before your departure something in Bokuto snapped.

He had started yet another argument, the first one in a while. The base of the argument was forgotten at this point, Bokuto pacing around back and forth in your shared bedroom, with his hands running through his hair.

You were frustrated, as you watched your angered boyfriend before you. Tears subtly running down your face.

“And the fact that you just decided to get up and leave, in the most important time of my life that’s fucked up!” He said, out of no where

You have had enough, anger running through your veins

“There it is again! The same bullshit you’ve been spitting since I told you about the job! I thought you were happy for me and supported me!” You cried out

“I do support you!!, but I can’t believe you’re so unbothered by the fact we’ll be separated for almost a whole year!” Bokuto shouts back. “Oh I’m so excited , I can’t wait to go, this is what I’ll do when I’m there.” he says in a mocking tone, mimicking you.

You’re listening in disbelief, “I am upset! You think I want to be Away from you??!! This is hard for me too!”

“You have a very funny way of showing it.” He scoffs “you don’t care about me, you don’t care about us.” He says, his hands pointing between him and you.

That hurt, it felt like you heart had broken into a million pieces. How could he say that? Did he really believe that?

“I can’t believe you’d say that to me.” You say hurt laced all over your words as you choke back tears “I can’t dwell on this the entire time bo. Why would I talk about something that’s evident??? Of course I’ll miss you, of course I want to stay. But this is something I’ve always dreamed of.” You’re crying in between words as you look up at him, his face also filled with tears. “I can’t just not do it.”

There’s a small silence once you’ve finished ranting. You two only stare blankly at each other for a moment, before he speaks again

“It was your choice to do that. Your choice to miss me”

You roll your eyes in frustration , you couldn’t believe after pouring your entire heart out he still found a way to blame you.

“Fine. Maybe it’s best if..... we end this now.” Those were hard words to say, but you had no idea how else to respond.

Bokuto just stares at you at first, his tears rolling down his face. He doesn’t seem to know what to say.

He clears his throat “maybe that is best then. If that’s what you want to do, I won’t stop you.”

Your heart breaks at his response. You thought he’d fight a little more, but it was evident that wouldn’t happen.

Crying you look up at him again, you had nothing else to say, so you give him one last glance before you start making your way towards the door. Saying one last thing before you leave completely

“Just know, if it were the other way around, I would never make you choose. I love you way too much for that.”

His breathe hitches, it felt like you stabbed him in the heart, “you don’t love me enough.” He yells back as you’re slamming the door, to make your way out, for good this time.

Now in present time, Filming was going great and your co stars have all welcomed you in the best way possible. You should’ve been happy but a part of you couldn’t help but think about Bokuto. You wondered what he was doing , who he was with, how his day went. Everything, all consumed by him. You tired you best to stay positive but some times you were just consumed by sadness, you wanted him, craved him, you missed him, very much.

Bokuto was just a mess as you were, even days after the breakup he’d find himself crying in the shower. He didn’t eat as much, had awful practice days and even got benched once because he lacked focus. He was tempted to call you every night, wanted to heart your voice, wanted to apologize for everything, but you were in California now, he didn’t want to distract you from your job, and what if you refused to take him back? That’s something he could not handle.

He always kept tabs on you, checked your social media every day, just to see how you were, to see you smile, and to make sure you were okay.

One day he was going through your Instagram page, and clicked on the tagged photos, the first picture that popped up was of you and another boy, a famous boy, your co star for the new movie you were filming. The description read “C/C/N out with Y/F/N, his co star for his upcoming movie, rumors say that they’re dating. What do you guys think? Cute new couple alert?”

Bokuto’s heart sank to the pit of his stomach as he slid through the photos, there you were laughing and having lunch with this guy. Reading the comments only made him feel worse. Everyone shipping you and your co star, talking about how cute you two looked together. It made Bokuto feel sick, anger and jealousy taking over his body.

Before he knew it, he was looking up everything he could about you and your co star, finding more photos, and becoming more angry by the second.

He couldn’t believe you could ever move on this quick, there was no way you would. You and him dated for 4 years, surely it would take you a lot longer before you could ever think about dating anyone new. He knew he could never.

So without even thinking he goes to dial you phone number, hoping for you to reply.

It was midnight where you were, you were getting ready for bed when your phone started ringing. Walking over to the nightstand your heart races the minute you see the contact name, it was Bokuto. You hadn’t talked to him for more than a month, you were nervous to answer the call, but you did.

“Hello.” You say, voice trembling a bit

Bokutos heart races instantly upon hearing your voice, the very voice he’s missed all this time.

“Y/n..... how are you?” He says in between pauses, sounding very nervous

“I’m okay, how are you?” You stutter out

There’s a brief silence on his end before he talks again “honestly? I’m a mess.” He’s trying his best to choke back tears “I can’t hide it, it hurts, I miss you.”

Tears instanly start running down your face, as you listen to his confession, “Bokuto...”

“I miss you so much baby” His voice sounds desperate

“Bokuto, please...” He can hear that you’re crying

“Please tell me, is it true, have you moved on? I know I have no right to ask but please, I need to know.”

His question catches you off guard at first, but then you remembered all the rumors that were floating around.

“Of course not. Those are only dumb rumors, but they’re not true at all.”

Bokuto can’t help but smile as he listens to your response. It felt like a heavy weight lifted from his shoulders

“Thank god.” He whispers out, he continues “y/n I can’t forget what we had, I know I fucked up, fuck I messed up so bad, but please find it in your heart to forgive me.”

“Bokuto, you hurt me so much.” You cry out “I want to forgive you, but it’s just so hard.”
