everyone please turn off ‘best stuff first’ in your settings on tumblr so you can support your content creators!
having best stuff first makes it so a lot of content creators’ edits and gifs get buried by other posts, so if you want to see your dashboard in… you know… chronological order (still don’t understand why social media keeps thinking we want anything but that) make sure you go:
settings > global settings > dashboard preferences > turn ‘best stuff first’ off.

What kind of book genres would the boys like or prefer? Or any topic certain topics they would like?
Ushijima
He doesn’t buy books. He mostly just reads whatever his mum does; whatever looks new, when he has time, he picks out from the bookshelves at home. There’s so many books but he just doesn’t have any preference when reading. Ushijima says there’s some discipline to not dumping books away after not liking the first few pages.
Semi
He doesn’t have much of a preference but he’ll mostly read stuff that’s considered a classic in the West since he feels like they’re a glimpse of history that he won’t really get to look on in class. While Of Mice and Men and Lord of the Flies may just be some class texts in the West, he genuinely enjoys reading them.
Reon
He loves to read speculative fiction that forces you to think rather than just taking you on a stroll of a journey. The works of Margaret Atwood and Kazuo Ishiguro are things he finds himself rereading often because he knows you can always find new things. The lack of proper resolution in their books isn’t even bad to him since it means you “make up your own ending” for the characters.
Tendou
While he would consider manga for this, upon “real literature” (which he hates people saying) he’d say that horror is his favourite genre. Tendou knows that it’s hard to write good horror, he’s tried himself, but he’s never able to create the intense feelings that his favourite authors like Mariko Koike and Koji Suzuke. He’s used the basis of these works for a fair few pranks.
Goshiki
Fantasy books have this guy’s heart on lock; JK Rowling, Nahako Uehashi and Rick Riordan are just some of his favourites but he could never honestly say that he could pick favourites. (He’s lying; his favourite series is the Percy Jackson series because his big brother introduced him to the books.)
Shirabu
Despite his love for reading, he hasn’t even touched half of the stuff that he’s bought. Half of the time, instead of just saying “hon” (the normal word for books) he’s using the word “tsundoku”, referring to all the materials he’s piled up. It’s actually just all non-fiction, mostly science that he swore he would read for class but never actually bothered about in the end.
Kawanishi
Inside his cold ass dead heart… he fucking loves old romance novels. You won’t catch him reading a paperback in public but that’s what his kindle is for; at least nobody’s looking over his shoulder. He likes stuff like Haruki Murakami, Natsume Sōseki and Osamu Dazai. If he isn’t hooked by the first chapter, he’s dumping it.
Yamagata
The thing is… he doesn’t read. He would love to but all he ever has the time for is small articles he can view on his phone on the way to wherever he is. He really likes books with samurai or basically anything set in the past. Yamagata really liked the book Shōgun by James Clavell but he only vaguely remembers reading the others. (Hey, if you barely remember the books, can you even say you enjoyed them Yamagata?)

Anon: I meant to say the swan boys as yandere with there s/o like how would they act around them.
Sen: For this idea of yandere, we used someone who is usually sweet but has threatened people for the guys but have not exactly acted out against them just yet. The yandere states that they are absolutely devoted to the STZ and says that they will give everything to him.
Ushijima
While he’s bad at communicating, he simply just knows how to be firm with his s/o. Breaking up with them is a danger to everyone and all, but distancing himself as soon as possible from them is the first thing he needs to do. Restraining orders are definitely an option with him as well. Anyone who poses a threat to people he cares about, no matter how close they are to him, is no longer welcome in his circle.
Semi
He doesn’t hesitate when he says that he won’t stay with his partner. The quicker he cuts himself off from them, the better he thinks his chances of protecting his loved ones it. Calling the police and compiling evidence against them comes before this though, since he knows that if they’re so bold as to proclaim to kill his loved ones that they’ll have some sort of backup to protect themselves as well.
Reon
He doesn’t exactly believe that they’re evil. Reon believes in being (too) fair, giving his s/o a chance to help them change and show that they don’t have to act against others to keep him. Yes, he’s honestly terrified of what they can do but he knows that it doesn’t have to be this way. Though, trying is only one option and he’s prepared to cut them off if they show no signs of change.
Tendou
He’s watched enough anime to know where this is going and he’s going to get the hell out of this as fast as he can. While this may be ‘exaggerating’ when he tells his problem to people, he wants to just hightail it to anywhere else in the world but with his s/o. He doesn’t know how ‘yandere’ his s/o is so he’s just getting the hell out of this.
Goshiki
He’s bold about what he says. The instant that his s/o makes the threat, he shouts that he can’t love someone who would do such a horrible thing and that they must be joking. He wants to love them. He gives his trust to people way too easily, but to hear such words from his s/o, even as a joke, makes him terrified. Despite his trepidation, he’ll stand up for those his s/o dares to threaten.
Shirabu
He doesn’t see why this is a problem. Though it’s cruel, using his s/o could prove useful. They’d do anything for him, right? He can let them do things that he wants and if they get in trouble along the way, they’d get arrested or something and taken away from him. He’s a good actor so he’s going to at least play through this as best as he can, all to protect the people he actually cares about.
Kawanishi
In all honesty, he’s too scared to do anything. He can’t be brave when people’s lives are on the line. While he isn’t a pushover, he has no idea what to do but to just keep with his yandere s/o, just so that the people he loves are safe. Maybe he’ll grow to like them but deep down, he knows that he hates his partner for their actions, but he hates himself even more for being walked on in this situation.
Yamagata
The whole yandere trope appeared cool in anime but it isn’t great to be the object of one’s actual adoration. He’s terrified for his friends and has no idea what to do; if he flees, his loved ones are in danger, if he stays, he has to fake it until they lose interest or kill him. After thinking it through, he comes to the decision that he’s only going to stay but act as distant as he can to make them lose interest.

Can I just...
In lieu of the new tumblr settings, can I make yet another plea with those of you who read fics and consume art on tumblr to please reblog them?
Fics and art will die on a creator’s dash if they aren’t reblogged.  It’s never been more true than now.
If you want to keep receiving content from creators, reblog the the content. If it’s something you enjoyed?  Reblog it.  It’s not hard.  I am going to make a point to reblog everything I read from now on.  (With the proper tags of course), as well as all the art that I see on my dash.
I cannot make it simpler.  Posts WILL die unless they’re reblogged.  No one will see your ‘like’.  Your like is a bookmark for YOU to find it later.  Your reblog means the world to a creator because it means you are willing to go the little extra distance and recommend this to your followers.
Don’t let creations die on the dash of those who created them.
Reblog to save a creation.
Reblog to keep a creator creating.
Reblog, please.

Anon:  Shiratorizawa's reaction to bad sportsmanship in a team and their school booing the opposite team like fucking hell i cant stand that shit
Ushijima
It takes a lot to actually get Ushijima angry, but this is one surefire way to do it. The second he even hears so much as a bad comment with no basis or so about his opponents, he whips his head around and glares. He does his best to respect his opponents and his words aren’t made to offend as they are.
Semi
Hissing and all that stuff is the most annoying thing for him but he won’t react right there and then. The last thing he wants is to get out of the flow, but as someone who’s used to some limelight, he’s felt the overwhelming pressure of crowds. He’s taking note of the people he’s friends with that are booing so he can have a strong word with them later on; he doesn’t want to cause a big fuss in front of everyone.
Reon
He’s disgusted. The court is supposed to be a place for battles against the teams without anything else distracting them. Not only is it unfair, but it’s just poor manner. Reon doesn’t shout at the crowd, but he does turn back to them and shake his head in disapproval since stopping the match because of it isn’t an option. However, he takes note of certain people and makes sure to talk to them about it afterwards.
Tendou
He doesn’t care much about it. They’re showing support for Shiratorizawa as it is so he doesn’t mind that the opponents are being belittled; he likes provoking the other team anyways. However, when their booing starts to distract the rest of the team, that’s when Tendou tries to make a little hand gesture to get them to quieten down.
Goshiki
He hates it. They may be supportive for them but Goshiki doesn’t believe that support should come through diminishing the others. He respects his opponents and never thought that Shiratorizawa would be a school that would sink so low as to not think about their honour. He can’t call everyone out on what they’re doing, in fear that he’ll seem self-righteous, but he doesn’t agree with what they’re doing at all.
Shirabu
Whatever’s going to help Shiratorizawa win, he’ll take it. It’s not exactly cheating so it’s calm, isn’t it? Though, he feels a twinge of guilt towards letting it go forward. This isn’t the volleyball that he wanted to play but if this is how it’s going to be, he’s not going to argue about it. He’s not responsible for the actions of others anyways.
Kawanishi
It’s not his business so he doesn’t interfere. This is an attitude he takes towards a lot of stuff. This is just one of them. So long as he isn’t distracted by it, he won’t do anything. If the will of their opponents is broken, it’s just convenient for them. Kawanishi acknowledges that this way of thinking is pretty twisted, but it works towards their advantage and lightens the load on them. It doesn’t necessarily mean he likes it though.
Yamagata
He hates it. Hollering in any way at either team makes Yamagata’s blood boil. Sure, he’ll tolerate maybe just one person saying it because they’ll eventually get shut up by the surrounding crowd but if everyone else was to do it? He’ll snap, his words sharp but firm to admonish them; they’re his classmates and people he sees every day, but that doesn’t mean that he’s going to excuse them for blatant disrespect.
