I can’t fucking read and the image quality is shitty on my phone and I genuinely thought the title said “allah and me” I’m. Fücking dumb lmao.
You know when something catches your attention out of the corner of your eye in a show and you know it’s significant, but can’t figure out why? There’s a book on a bookstand to the right-hand side of Aziraphale’s desk when he’s reading Agnes Nutter’s book.
I’ve been trying for ages to get a clear shot of it and finally got a hi-def enough shot.
He has a fricking illustrated version of the story of Adam and Eve. On display. In his workroom. By his desk. While he’s working. You know. Adam and Eve. Eden. Apple. That thing which led to his meetcute with the serpent in the fricking illustration?
tfw your angelic nerd has a vintage etching of his boyfriend by his desk.

I haven't posted in a while but I'd like to get this off my chest... Cantor Dina (not sure I spelled that right sorry) from Big Mouth looks like fuckin Roger from American Dad in one of his disguises and I can't stop thinking about it.

2/10/19 // morning all! I never usually post in the mornings (we’re not good friends) but recently I’ve been trying morning pages - any other writers do them?
Morning pages are essentially writing as soon as you wake up, as to avoid unnecessary overthinking while you’re putting words down. You can write about your dreams or very first thoughts or whatever you want without any inhibition and see if you can pull out some gems when you read it back later - it’s been making my mornings feel more productive too!

A million times this 👏👏👏
Body Positivity
Examples of body positivity:
- Wearing whatever the hell you please, regardless of your physique
- Eating healthy food
- Regular exercise
- Putting on makeup just because you want to
- Maintaining a body weight that is appropriate for your frame and height
- Not sweating it if your body isn’t perfect
- Taking care of health problems before they get out of control
Examples of body negativity:
- Deliberately eating too much in order to give society the finger
- Maintaining sedentary lifestyle
- Making catty remarks about the bodies of others
- Allowing preventable diseases to take over your life
- Spreading misinformation and lies regarding health, potentially harming somebody else’s body

Ik this might seem kind of hypocritical after that rant, but still, just try to be kind to others. No one deserves to be ridiculed for their looks.
Reasons to stop fat-shaming
1. Fat-shaming contributes to poor mental health. Weight-based stigma was associated with increased scores of depression in individuals with obesity [1]. Unsurprisingly, weight stigma has also been associated with increased body dissatisfaction, and decreased self-esteem [2].
2. Fat-shaming works against weight loss on a metabolic level, and may contribute to chronic disease. Exposure to weight-based stigma and fat-shaming statements has been shown to increase cortisol levels. Cortisol is a stress hormone, and has been shown to inhibit weight loss. It also works against insulin, thereby increasing blood sugar levels. [3, 4]
3. Fat-shaming makes people exercise less. Research has shown that the more weight-based stigma people experience, the more they avoid exercising [2, 5]. There is no evidence that shaming people for their weight motivates them to exercise, and in fact, it seems to do the opposite.
4. Fat-shaming makes people eat more. Exposure to weight-based stigma leads to increased caloric consumption [6, 7]. This directly challenges the notion that shaming individuals to lose weight will have any sort of positive or motivating effect.
5. Do you really need a reason to be kind? Fat-shaming has been associated with a myriad of negative effects on mental and physical health, and has never been shown to have a positive, motivating effect on individuals. Most importantly, though, all people are worthy of respect and should not be judged, shamed, or pressured to act differently due to their weight or appearance.
The next time you’re thinking of making a comment about someone’s weight out of a desire to ‘motivate them’, or supposed concern about their health, consider the points above. You’re only doing harm to people’s mental and physical health when you engage in fat-shaming behaviour.
References are included below the break, and I’m happy to chat about any of the above in more detail on request.
