I'm Back!
Hello Dears! I'm back and yes as always my blogs are still under construction. Forgive me my brain might not ever be satisfied with the layout. My mental and emotional health took a real nose dive over the past month. Then I had planned surgery on Monday and overall was not in the right space. I am feeling much better and am ready to burden you all with my muses. All old threads prior to the beginning of April are dropped unless discussed.
If you want to start up something new my interest tracker is below the cut. Thanks for all my new and old followers bearing with me. I promise the wait will be worth it.

"You're correct but I prefer to be known by my name. And I have no desire to order you around. Father said to always be respectful and to carry two coins for the ferrymen." She said as she remembered he father's words. Even though she was immortal now she still carried the coins on her.
"Not the former but definitely the latter. My cat was coming home a bit rounder and when I asked he told me about a nice man that smelled like home. And Lord Hades is always moping around this time of year."
"Godling? I guess it's more interesting than heathen." Hael sighed as she approached him. "Yeah, actually you didn't give me the vibe that you had hobbies or liked mortals."

"Helblindi" She said remembering the name from one of her history classes. Hael never thought that being forced to remember the name of important people ever end up coming in handy. In retrospect she did not think of herself as a true death god. Just a replacement until her father returned to take his place amongst his peers; Hel being on of them. "No need to apologize. He was the only consistent family I had for a long time so he means a lot to me."
"My brother is not a beast but I understand what you mean. There is something beautiful in the form of an animal. They do not know wickedness and live only to survive from cradle to grave. The same can not be said for others."
haelinherbones:
“Ah, ah I come from humble beginnings and my name isn’t also the name of the location I live and work in.” She teased thinking of her own local ruler of the underworld and his dog named Spot. Hael knew that Hel wasn’t being mean to Bones thought that didn’t stop her from milking the situation.
“I know. My boy is just a little sensitive.” Hael said as made a gesture to the feeling who was making his way towards them. “I’d have to agree. Animals unlike mortals are easier to deal with.”
Hel was quiet a moment, blinking incredulously at the other woman. She didn’t completely understand the need for distinction. You group gods of death together, you should include them all. “That’s… a fun coincidence.” She chuckled, “I was actually named after my uncle Helblindi.”
“Oh, well then I am very sorry.” She said to the hellhound as he approached them. “I’m sure you’re very charming.” Hel turned to Hael and nodded in agreement. “Absolutely. And I don’t just say that because my brothers are beasts.”

"What do you need, godling?" The ferryman leans against the car he's repairing. "Surprised to see me topside or something else?"

“It’s not that I dislike cats..” Hel said, and it started like the beginning of a story how she kinda did dislike cats. She went on to elaborate, “I just don’t love that they can’t be disciplined very well. I need pets that understand to leave when I say so.”

Hael frowned feeling a little insulted considering Bones was literally in earshot. Her dark eyes moved to settle on the form of the oversized Norweigan Forest Cat. Wondering if he had heard and if his feelings were hurt.
"He's a hellhound and that's his favorite form." She sighed before looking back to the other woman. You death deities always seem to have a thing for dogs."
