Haebong Character Guidelines
Some jobs, like taxi drivers, artists, or indie musicians, take you all over Haebong—it’s up to you how far you go.
Some jobs posted by the dalbit crew are not listed on the main job list. These are first come, first serve opportunities. Job details will specify requirements, availability, and whether they are temporary or permanent. example: (2) street race organizers / permanent / must be a yulgang resident.
No matter who you are or where you come from, you owe something to Mr. Jang—a debt, a favor, or maybe even your life.
Only Level 20+ can create their own job outside the listed roles—if Mr. Jang thinks you’re worth it. Until then, pick from the job list and play your part.

The Dalbit Crew are just your average, friendly neighborhood convenience store workers—except for the part where they’re definitely hiding something.
They live on any neighborhood on Haebong but works under Dalbit store, the center of the district. They’re always nearby yet somehow impossible to track down when you actually need them. Two work the registers, one stocks the shelves, and one… well, no one really knows what he does, but he shows up just enough to prove he exists, he might be a manager.. if you’re curious ask him when you see him.
People whisper that they’re Mr. Jang’s relatives, but if you ask them, they’ll just smile.
Outside of work, they seem shockingly normal, drinking at bars, watching movies, hitting up festivals, and occasionally getting dragged to some rich person’s exclusive party. But don’t let that fool you. No matter where they are, who they’re with, or how much soju they’ve had, their loyalty to Mr. Jang never wavers.
The Dalbit crew are the only exception—they can live in any neighborhood, but their main job is working at Dalbit store. No one really knows how they got there, but one thing’s for sure: they’re closer to Mr. Jang than most.
The Dalbit Crew are not real players; to maintain the mystery of these characters, these characters will be NPCs that the admins will control using Tupper. They will appear and disappear at will, keeping the inhabitants of Haebong guessing...

Haebong Ranking System (Mr. Jang’s Favor)
Level 0-4 | Unmarked - You’re a nobody in Haebong. Mr. Jang doesn’t know you, and he doesn’t care. The Dalbit crew might have noticed you hanging around, but you’re not worth their time. If you owe money, it’s small enough to be ignored.. for now.
Level 5-9 | Marked - You’re officially on Mr. Jang’s radar. He knows who you are, and so does Dalbit crew. Your debt is now real, acknowledged, and being tracked. You can’t hide anymore. Whether you’re useful or just another burden, time will tell.
Level 10-14 | Trusted - Mr. Jang considers you valuable. You’re no longer just a debtor—you’re someone he trusts to pay up (eventually). You can walk into Dalbit freely, and the crew respects you.
Level 15-19 | Favored - You’re more than just trusted, you’re useful. Mr. Jang sees potential in you, and that means opportunities, responsibilities, and risks. The Dalbit crew treats you with respect, but make no mistake: one wrong move, and you’ll lose everything.
Perks: You have the opportunity to establish your own business, studio, or operation (a dedicated server channel) to keep things organized. You can also maintain a separate identity (another account)— but only if you can persuade Mr. Jang that it’s worth permitting.
Level 20-25 | Real Deal – You’re in. Mr. Jang respects you, and that means something. You don’t just owe him—you’re part of his world. He invites you for tea, and that’s a big deal. But power comes with responsibility, and Mr. Jang never does favors for free.
Perks: You have the freedom to switch neighborhoods, create your own job or title, and even choose your name color.

The Neighborhoods of Haebong-gu
Haebong-gu is divided into four distinct neighborhoods, each with its own unique atmosphere, residents, and way of life. From high-rise luxury apartments to back-alley gambling dens, these streets paint the full picture of Haebong’s chaotic charm.
Daehwa Avenue (대화대로) – "The Street of Gold" For those who have it all—or pretend they do.
Daehwa Avenue—where the rich don’t just live, they rule. The sidewalks sparkle, the cars cost more than your soul, and the biggest crime here is wearing last season’s designer. If you’re not drinking imported whiskey on a rooftop or closing a shady business deal over golf, are you even a Daehwa resident?
Most of them own half of Haebong or run companies that decide everyone else’s fate. Some come from old money, practically born with stocks in their cribs, while others hustled their way up—probably through “perfectly legal” means. But no matter how rich they are, they all have one debt they can’t ignore: Mr. Jang.
Of course, they won’t say they owe him. Here, deals are just “favors,” and betrayals are “business decisions.” But if you listen closely at an exclusive gala, between the polite laughs and clinking glasses, you’ll hear whispers of who really runs Daehwa.
Bonghyeon-dong (봉현동) – "The Beating Heart of Haebong" For the locals who keep the district running.
Bonghyeon-dong—where gossip spreads faster than WiFi, and your neighbor’s grandma somehow knows your schedule better than you do. This is Haebong’s soul, filled with nosy but well-meaning locals, kids who treat the streets like a racetrack, and elders who run the parks like a mafia (but with more yoga and kimchi storage tips). If you live here, expect to be force-fed fruit by an ajumma at least once a week.
By day, it’s an education and government hub, meaning students crying over exams, civil servants questioning their life choices, and convenience store workers watching it all unfold. By night? Those same students are at bars, office workers are pretending tomorrow doesn’t exist, and someone’s uncle is singing way too passionately at a noraebang. Work-life balance? More like work-study-drink-repeat.
On the surface, Bonghyeon seems peaceful, but let’s be real—half the neighborhood owes something to Mr. Jang. Some took a loan, others had hospital bills covered, and a few are just paying off their great-grandfather’s mysterious “favor.” They may not know what the debt was for, but one thing is certain: if Mr. Jang ever calls, you don’t ignore it.
Yulgang Street (율강길) – "The Wild Side of Haebong” For the reckless, the desperate, and those who thrive in the night.
Yulgang Street is Haebong’s ultimate chaos hub—where bad decisions are made, debts pile up, and last night’s mistakes become tomorrow’s problems. It’s packed with broke students dodging responsibilities, street racers, gang member, hustlers selling who-knows-what, and club workers pretending they still have energy. If you don’t have a side hustle here, are you even trying?
By day, it’s a mix of cheap eats, sketchy deals, and people skipping work like it's a personality trait. By night, it’s louder, messier, and way more expensive. The neon signs flicker, the music blasts, and suddenly everyone’s either a high roller or running from one.
But Yulgang isn’t bad—it’s just not for the weak. If you can handle the chaos, keep an open mind, and maybe don’t ask too many questions, you’ll be fine. And one great piece of advice? Keep track of how much you owe Mr. Jang. Because trust me—you do. And if you think you don’t? you’re not thinking right.
Haneul Village (하늘마을) – "The Quiet Escape" For the dreamers, the artists, and those who want to disappear.
Haneul Village is Haebong’s chill zone—home to indie musicians, struggling artists, and retirees who just want to drink tea in peace. The streets are filled with tiny cafés, secondhand bookstores, and art galleries nobody can afford, making it the perfect spot for those who romanticize financial instability.
Unlike the rest of Haebong, Haneul feels... safe. Too safe. Almost suspiciously safe. Some say it’s where people go when they want to disappear—artists hiding from debt collectors, ex-criminals turned poets, or washed-up elites who “retired” a little too suddenly.
But don’t be fooled. Mr. Jang still knows you're here. Maybe you came to escape him, maybe you didn’t. Either way, Haebong has a way of pulling people back in.

The Dalbit Group Chat.
To monitor those indebted to him, Mr. Jang created a group chat, originally a private line for his "clients." But over time, it evolved into something more:
At first, the Dalbit GC was a way for Mr. Jang’s debtors to receive orders, warnings, or updates about their standing with him. But as more people joined, it turned into a community hub. Now, it’s a place where people:
Sell and trade items (phones, bikes, secondhand clothes, even stolen goods if you know who to ask).
Announce local events (from underground poker nights to legit elite gatherings).
Look for help (need a loan? A fake alibi? Someone to do your dirty work? Just ask).
Complain about life in Haebong (sometimes you just need to rant about rent price, bad Wi-Fi, and how your mom keeps forcing you to attend cello class).
But don’t get too comfortable, Mr. Jang is still present on the group chat and he’s reading it right now.

What Connects Everyone?
The center of it all is Dalbit Store, a seemingly ordinary 24/7 convenience store that serves as the unofficial heart of Haebong. It’s owned by the mysterious Mr. Jang, a man whose influence stretches across every corner of the district. No one truly knows how much power he holds, but his presence looms over Haebong like a shadow. It is where the desperate, the reckless, and the well-connected cross paths.
On the surface, it’s just another corner store—rows of instant noodles, cheap beer, and flickering fluorescent lights. But if you know what to ask for, Dalbit offers more than just late-night snacks.
Despite everyones differences, everyone in Haebong is connected by one thing.. Mr. Jang.

Haebong-gu (해봉구) is the kind of place where fortunes are made, lost, and occasionally “redistributed” overnight. A chaotic cocktail of wealth and struggle, modernity and tradition, and law and… whatever people can get away with, this district thrives on power, reputation, and connections. If Seoul were a game, Haebong-gu would be the level where the rules don’t quite apply, but the side quests are endless.
Once a quiet working-class neighborhood, Haebong-gu somehow evolved into a live-action soap opera where corporate hotshots, desperate shopkeepers, shady gamblers, and broke street performers all exist in a delicate balance held together by debt, favors, and the universal agreement to mind your own business. You don’t just live here—you survive, preferably with a solid exit plan and a backup stash of emergency cash.
On the surface, it’s just another Seoul district with apartments, schools, and businesses. But anyone who’s been here long enough knows Haebong runs on whispered deals, questionable alliances, and the ever-present fear of owing the wrong person a favor. If you don’t know what’s going on, congratulations—you’re already part of something you shouldn’t be.
Despite the district’s chaotic nature, one thing remains true: everyone is connected, whether they like it or not.
