One of the final days of my trip was the start of Be Boy's 30th anniversary gallery at Seibu in Shibuya and as much as i don't super like going to shibuya this was ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS OF MY FUJOSHI LIFE

I took pictures of EVERYTHING but these are mostly Yamane Ayano who I've been a fan of since volume one of finder that i randomly picked up at mandarake one day

The concept of fandom in the iwtv world always amazes me so much. like Daniel Molloy probably had his fanbase long before interview with the vampire was published and well honestly it was probably adults doing their adult stuff (taxes or something). Now imagine what it's like to be that person and then to see your favorite author's fanbase become teenage queers making edits

the longer this sanji zine I ordered (and shilled because I was excited bc a lot of my favorite artists were on it AND there was an apron as a stretch goal so i gunned for that).....

the longer it takes to even send me a TRACKING order the more and more irate I'm getting because even the updates and responses are so few and far between. I asked them early may? "just making sure my order actually went through" bc I'm dumb enough to maybe have not actually ordered (I'm coping lol I know full fucking well I ordered)

their response was that shipping would be done by end of may. Didn't really answer my question but its the go-to answer they give people that you will receive a tracking number when your order is going out.

End of may. And that was a pushed deadline.

I checked the site today because MONTHS have gone by still and I STILL haven't received any updates. I've seen people ask on twitter and tumblr the same question. NO response. I understand only wanting to respond via the big cartel site but like...brother so much of our worries would be lessened if you just GAVE US A RESPONSE. Give us an UPDATE. How many orders are left? How many waves are left? Did you run into an issue IRL and it held you back? you can't just be like "Well we had a lot of stuff and its taking time"

YEAH. Thats why you need to plan your shipping timeline better when the orders get over 900!!!!!!

THE PDF IS THE BASIC THING THAT SHOULD BE SENT OUT.

I got so frustrated with this I almost started crying earlier (I was in a cranky mood all day so its partially that) because its not an insignificant amount of money but its also the JOY of FINALLY getting the thing I ordered is now tarnished by this slow shipping AND mainly lack of response.

And I feel bad for constantly bringing this up because I know things HAPPEN. I know sometimes orders go over what you expect but dawg. You gotta let us know SOMETHING. Do an update on twitter (also the twitter post was FOURTEEN DAYS LATER than the tumblr update).

The main reason ~I~ was personally worried was BECAUSE MY POST OFFICE BURNT DOWN AND I ALREADY LOST A PACKAGE OF GOODS. And I'm constantly worried that I'll miss something (that happened in feb when i went to japan. They didn't leave me the mail slip saying i had a package so I totally forgot and then had to wait for the package to arrive BACK in Japan and have the store ship it back out. AGAIN this was because I was in Japan but also displaced because of the fire. SO I'M A LITTLE SENSITIVE ABOUT LOSING PACKAGES

E S P E C I A L L Y WHEN ONTRAC AND AMAZON STOLE ~TWO~GRAPHICS CARDS FROM ME. SO I'M A LITTLE SENSITIVE ABOUT ORDERS NOT ARRIVING AT MY HOUSE.

lol thats more personal than anything but this is WHY ~I~ am so stressed about this. Like this is just....an extra layer of distrust I have on ordering things from people online which sucks because ...like....I can order a goddamn pizza but I can't order an anime fanbook?

And obviously this is no slight to any of the artists who worked on this. Your job was done and apparently done beautifully from what I've seen. I sure would like to have it tho.
