I made quite a lot of playlist in my ipod and this particular one is my favourite: eighteen sexiest songs. The songs ranged from steamy-slow jams to sexy guitar riffs to explicit songs about sex which involves moaning woman. But one thing they all have in common, this song is sexxxxy in one way or another. Sexy is of course a relative term and the songs I put here is my kind of sexy, ergo I'd be more than glad to know if you have other songs in mind. So as Marvin puts it let's get it on..

Closer-Nine Inch Nails. First, let's kick off with this obscenely explicit song about rough sex, animalistic instinct. The music makes you feel like entering some underground club and witnessing orgy or some sexual ritual. This is the first song about sex that came up to my mind. Favorite lyrics: 'my whole existence is flawed..you get me closer to god'

#1 Crush-Garbage. Garbage's lead singer Shirley Manson was bullied in secondary school causing her to suffer from depression and self-harm. Who knew decades later she would not only be one of the hottest redheaded ever but also the hottest female in rock history. #1 Crush opened with female moans. It was also featured in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo+Juliet. Personally, to me the song is sexy in an insecure and somehow spiritual way just like Manson. Favorite lyrics: 'I will twist the knife and bleed my aching heart'

Tomorrow Never Dies-Sheryl Crow. This song serves as the theme song of the most popular ladies man in the history of film : 007 Tomorrow Never Dies, which sort of makes it instantly sexy. Sheryl's raspy-meant-to-bed-voice is undoubtfully seductive. While some critics called it the worst bond's theme song ever, I still find it really sexy. Favorite lyrics: 'darling you've won it's no fun martinis, girls, and guns'

Glory Box-Portishead. The song is actually talking about love of a woman who is tired of fooling around and wanting a real relationship. Favorite lyrics: 'give me a reason to love you'

To The End (La Comedie)-Blur. In this version Blur features french chanteuse Francoise Hardy, that's enough reason to make it sexy. The french verses sung in the background and makes it sexy yet romantic. Favorite lyrics: 'well you and I collapsed in love"

Last Day of Magic-The Kills. ALISON MOSSHART IS HOT PERIOD. Favorite lyrics: 'my little tornado..my little hurricane-o'

Kool Thing-Sonic Youth. Another song sung by one of the hottest female in rock history Kim Gordon who also played bass for Sonic Youth. The song is an attack on gender identity especially the macho masculine male, which makes me feel kinda stupid because the whole time all I'm thinking is how hot Kim sounds. Gotta love the riffs. Favorite lyrics: the part when Kim and a male having a conversation.

Magic Man-Heart. Seriously that guitar riff in the opening is sooooo seductive. The song is sung from the viewpoint of a young girl who is being seduced by an older man, much to the chagrin of her mother, who calls and begs the girl to come home (source:wikipedia). It was also featured on Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides. The scene where Kirsten Dunst just get out of school while Josh Hartnett waits leaning on his car captures the song perfectly. Favorite lyrics: 'he's a magic man..oh..he's got the magic hands'

I Wanna Be Your Dog-Iggy Pop and The Stooges. Me thinks it's about submission and Iggy wants to be his/her dog. Favorite lyrics: 'NOW I WANT TO BE YOUR DOG'

I Want You-Elvis Costello. Now this is a twisted, obsessive, passionate, sick, sad song about being cheated by one's partner and goddamn it this is one hell of a sexy song. Favourite lyrics: '..It's the thought of him undressing you or you undress him' 

Dazed and Confused-Led Zeppelin. I DARE YOU TO LISTEN TO THE RIFF AND TELL ME YOU DON'T FIND IT SEXY. Favourite lyrics: 'try to love you baby but you push me away'

Wild Thing-The Troggs. It's a groovy kind of sexy. Favourite lyrics: 'wild thing..think I love you'

Young Blood-Coasters. The lyrical theme of this bluesy song is quite typical in the early rock and roll: boy meets girl, then meet girl's father who doesn't approve; so the boy leave but can't stop thinking about the girl. The way they sing with woaaaaaah in the end of every words is just sexy, it's the same level of sexiness with Elvis. Favorite lyrics: '..young blood, I can't get you out of my mind'

Bad Things-Jace Everett. Bad Thing is the theme song of True Blood and yes the series contains a lot of weird sex scenes between human and vampire, an orgy commanded by a maenad, and human and shapeshifter (in the form of a dog), etc. Speaking of dog, the song also features howling by the singer. Favourite lyrics: '..but before the night is through I wanna do bad things with you'

I Put A Spell On You-Screamin' Jay Hawkins. It's bluesy drunk sexy love song.  It was selected as one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll and also made Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Songs of All. Enough reason for you to download it. Favorite lyrics: 'I put a spell on you, because you're mine'

Love To Love You Baby-Donna Summer. The ultimate making-love song. Donna Summer not only seducing us with her voice but also her moans through out the song which at the end of the song reached an orgasmic moan.

Let's Get It On-Marvin Gaye. The song contains of what considers at that time some explicit lyrics referring to sex which helped catapulted Gaye as a sex icon. It's not as clear as NIN's Closer but still it speaks of sex. Favorite lyrics: 'understand me sugar'

Tonight's The Night-Rod Stewart. Well it's about losing your virginity, 'nuff said. Favorite lyrics: 'tonight's the night it's gonna be alright'
