Isn’t it weird how you can actually feel the pain in your chest and stomach when something really hurts your feelings

The country is now on lockdown and I have so many thoughts racing through my head and I’m overwhelmed with pain. 3 weeks may not seem like a long time for some. But 3 weeks without seeing my girlfriend who is my best friend, my person and my home all in one seems like a lifetime. I know that it is happening for all the right reasons and I’m not undermining the fact that some people will or have lost loved ones for good, due to the virus but it still doesn’t make it any easier to get my head around. She’s the only person that can bring me up on my lowest of days and put a smile on my face. Being isolated to one place and having minimal distractions from my mind is going to be difficult anyways and the fact I don’t have her physical contact or presence to comfort me scares the shit out of me even more. I hope these next few weeks go as quick as possible so we can get back to normality of my Mrs winding me up, playing with my hair and being in her arms ❤️ @angharad0j

be sure to understand ur s/o’s way of showing affection and make them aware of yours.. some ppl show affection by buying u things and some ppl will say I love u a million times and some will make u breakfast some will leave u the last ice cream, but it’s really important to know about these things bc u could not notice them and feel unloved while your s/o feels taken for granted and it’s just all a big misunderstanding so please talk about these things
