Quickly, Harmony got out of the car without a word. She refused to look his way, walking off straight to her house to lock herself in.

Harmony attempted to open the door again, sighing once she realized she couldn’t open it due to the child lock. “Can you please come and open my door?”

Harmony sighed in relief, turning her head away from him as she fell silent, she wanted nothing more than to just return to her home.

“Demitri, for the love of God. Stop driving crazy. I don’t have a attitude.” She spoke clearly, grabbing onto the arm of the door, sighing. “Please stop.”

“I shouldn’t have to tell you when we were together for years and it was all I ever talked about and did. You not that stupid - oh wait.” She rolled her eyes and sat up, reaching for her seat belt. “And can you slow down?”

“You’re trying to be manipulative and that won’t work on me anymore. I’ll struggle and be stupid to you, and I don’t care. I really don’t.” She said with a shrug, “you don’t even know anything about what I do. Don’t act interested, Demitri.”

“Do you know how you sound right now?” Harmony spoke after staring at him silently; “You sound stupid.” She answered the question for him; “And shallow as hell. I don’t need your help with anything, I got it like I always do. My bag is just fine without you. None of that matters to me and if you knew me how you claim you do, you’d know that.”

Harmony rolled her eyes and sat back against the seat, her hands moving to her face to wipe away the tears that fell again. She sighed loudly, growing more upset as she realized he was right. “Demitri, what could you possibly do to make anything right again? Hm?”

“You literally just threatened me and still got the audacity to act like I don’t have the pictures of the bruises you left on me.” She grumbled out, yanking on the door one last time before she looked over at Demitri. “You are crazy, do you know that? This is why I ignore you. This is why I don’t deal with you. I’m seriously considering getting a damn restraining order.”

“You had nothing to do with my mis— you’re such a fuckin’ liar!! You’re a liar and I’m not speaking to you if you’re going to just sit up in my face and lie!” She yelled, yanking on the handle more. “you wanna act like you didn’t put your fuckin’ hands on me, like I don’t have the damn proof!? — If you don’t let me out you know damn well I will break this door!” She spoke angrily, her jaw clenching again.

Harmony’s brows furrowed at Demetri words, yet again looking at him with disbelief. She couldn’t wrap her mind around his logic, “Dramatic!? I—. Did you forget who you talkin’ to!? You did fuckin’ abuse me! Me hitting you in the face compared to you choking me? Punching on me?! The fuck is my hit compared to yours nigga, are you fucking stupid!?” She yelled; “I did need therapy, I fuckin’ went to therapy because I was depressed for over a year about the baby YOU caused me to lose because you weren’t shit then and you ain’t shit now!” She turned her body toward the door and yanked on the door handle. “Let me out this damn car, you’re fuckin’ crazy.” She spat.

Harmony’s eyes rolled as the male began to speak, the way he began his commentary already irritating her. As she listened on, her body tensed - the mentioning of her miscarriage always a trigger for her, and he knew that. The woman was still struggling from the pain of their relationship, her losing their baby being the most detrimental. Harmony’s jaw clenched and eyes swelled up with tears as he continued on, her body jumping the instant his voice raised. Her body scooted as far away from him as possible as a reflex, her back against the car door as she faced him. She looked at him in disbelief; her tears falling as her head shook from side to side. “You haven’t changed.. you haven’t changed at all, Demetri. For God’s sake, why can’t you see that?!” She angrily wiped away at her cheeks, “You are allowed to feel however you want to feel, but you are NOT allowed to hurt me anymore. You aren’t allowed to come into my life and do whatever you want anymore! Love ain’t got shit to do with any of this”

Harmony nodded at his words; her head turning to look at him. His words caused a chuckle to leave her mouth, her head shaking. “Who said you changed for the better? Who told you that? You? You told yaself that?” She quizzed knowingly, “How did you change for the better D? Hm? Enlighten me. Because you coming to my house, talking about you not over me when you’re about to get married and have kids sounds like some usual Demetri bullshit”

Harmony scoffed at his words, her brows shooting up. “Nigga please, you need to go to a fuckin’ therapist don’t tell me shit about shit, please and thank you smart ass.” She shot back toward him, her eyes rolling as she shifted in her seat. She folded her arms again, “I met him once. Talked to him maybe twice. It’s fine, why? How are you and your wife to be?”
