On the subject of girls wanting walk in closets...
I bought some nice knee high boots a few months ago, because my sneakers had developed holes and were sucking up just a bit of water/snow, so they were useless for winter.
Turns out, the new boots kinda, uh...suck in winter, because they have ZERO tread, and any patch of ice becomes a danger. And I live in the mountains of New England. They're still GREAT as long as I know I won't be encounter any ice walking around.
But since that means I can't really use them much in winter, my sneakers are water magnets, and my old big clunky male boots are showing signs of wear, I have *nothing* that is good for winter weather.
So I had to buy ANOTHER pair of boots, more winter appropriate, and hopeful with more treads on the sole.
I have been buying so much footwear since I began the slowest transition of all time, that I am at risk of becoming a cliche.
