Can we talk about how Dazai could have easily gotteb rid of Fyodor but just didn't? So we all know he used an ability user that can stop tine in order to get an advantage, tell me why he didn't use that time during which only he could move to take a gun and end Fyodor? I mean sure Fyodors ability and so on, but 1 as far as Dazai knew Fyodors ability was touch reliant so a gun wouldn't have been a problem, but even had he known, Dazai would have never turned into fyodor vecause Dazai is immune to all kinds of abilities. No matter what they are based on. I mean U jnow it would have made the whole thing boring, but I'm just saying. Why didn't he?

ok, so I don't know, if I've already talked about this here, but regarding chapter 109 I feel like this should be discussed again. How is it logically possible for Dazai to die, when there is beast. I mean, beast is basically something that happens after the current storyline, right? Something Dazai does after everything's over and they have claimed the book. So how can he die now?
I mean I don't want to sound like I cant believe it, I would very well believe it if he were to be dead now, I'm just saying it doesn't make any sense. Any ideas?

regarding chapter 105.5 (just to mention this at ine point, if they make me wait for an update on the Dazai, Fyodor, Chuuya, Sigma story another year like they did last time, i'm gonna lose it)
Right now, unfortunately I can't yet tead it I've only seen tiktok about it cause it's not out in english yet, however what I can say is, I'm confused.
I mean, I know I'm a bit Dazai orientated when it comes to this, but still.
I'm not confused about the fact, that Fzodor outsmarted Dazai on this, nor that Chuuya made it out (I'm gkad about that btw), but about the plot line now.
I mean, surely Fyodor is gonna kill Dazai somehow (unless my doubt about them both being mortal is true amd they legit just can't die), probably.
But then, how can Beast happen?
Cause I mean BEAST is a Universe created by Dazai using the book, which is to my understanding exactly what they are fighting about right now. And we sll know, thebook is locked ip in a Box(which was likely also desogned by Dazai)
The box might not be an issue cause Fyodor might figure it out, but Beast is still there.
I was under the believe that beast and all the other universes happen after the whole ordeal, because Dazai finally uses the book, now if Fyodor kills Dazai, how can beast happen ?
Like this is no fan theory or some shit, this is a genuine question on which I'd love to hear theiries or answers

The list of Dazai's crimes is not real, in the scene where 'his crimes' are revealed, the ada is being blamed for a lot of things that are not true --> are made up. Dazai's criminal record had been erased by Ango, anything they have now is made up, on the foundation that he used to be port mafia because that is the part they know from Tachihara (who turned out to be a spy for them).
So for everyone saying it's his criminal record or it's only the stuff that the officials know about him: It's neither it's just some made up bullshit.

Dazai didn't care about killing Chuuya, because 1 he is generally not someone who cares a lot and 2 because it was his plan from the beginning, not to find the book and destroy it, but to keep it for himself. In the manga it is revealed, that the book is locked inside a box, which cannot be opened. It is hinted that Dazai built said box. So in conclusion, if Dazai built the box he knows how to open it, even when no one else does.
Now how is this connected to Chuuya? If Dazai was planning to use the book from the beginning in order to bring Odasaku "back", he might as well be planning to do the same with Chuuya / create a world in which both of them are alive.

Ok so breaking news. I think I just figured out a part of Dazai's mind. It's called CPTSD.
It's a complexe form of PTSD, which leaves the effected people with a permanent lack of understanding and caring about peoples emotions. They lack empathy and can't understand emotions and they don't care about them.
It is typically caused by sexual abuse, severe abuse, experiences with war, natural disasters, torture, neglect (both physically and mentally), severely destructive relationships with adults, in general cases of severe violence.
Typical symptoms are
- affection regulation
- dealing with anger
- self destructive tendencies
- suicidal behavior / lack of a will to continue life
- disturbed sexual reception (not in the means of sexual attraction, but more like not understanding the meaning of sexual connections and using them for greater purposess.)
- 'Risky' behavior (the lack of understanding dangerous situations as such, therefore not responding correctly/ actively putting others and themselves into dangerous situations, aware of the sitation, but not understanding the problem it causes)
- dissociative episodes
- Twisted self perception (ineffectiveness, stigma for social events, guilt, shame, isolation and trivialization, loss of self-esteem)
- twisted perception of others/relationships with others (Incapability of full trust, revictimization, victimization)
- Somatization (Gastrointestinal Symptoms, Chronic Pain, Cardiopulmonary Symptoms, Conversion Symptoms, Sexual Symptoms)
- Change of Life standarts/view of life goals etc (constant feeling of emptyness, desperation, hopelessness, constant unexplainable feeling of nervousness...)
- material addictions (alcohol, drug (as a form of filling the emptyness and lack of emotions and claming uneasyness))
- need for controle (in relationships often viewed as manipulative and toxic)
Doesn't that sound familiar?
Self distructive tendencies, suicidal behaviour, disturbed sexual reception, 'risky' behaviour, twisted perceotion of others/relationships with others, constant feeling of emptyness, material addictions (ok, we don't acctually know about this one, but there was one scene from his apartement, which was piled up with alcohol bottles) and finally the need for controle(mostly the manipulation part)
I don't know, but in my head, it kinda adds up. Let me know what you think

I have a question, Is Dazai being referred to as demon prodigy canon? Or is that just something someone once made up and somehow people used it and now we think it's canon? Like when did anyone ever refer to him as demon prodigy? If anyone knows that, please tell me

So, I've seen many tiktoks about how Dazai no longer has the same vibes as he used to (Ever since Chapter 101 was uploaded) But you know, I don't think that's true. If you really try to see it, then you'll realize, that Dazai has always had this manipulative traitorous (I'm pretty sure that's not how you spell that word) side to him. In the very first episode, he showed absolutely no empathy to Atsushi, even though he played around and saved him before, seemingly out of empathy/pitty.
In the second episode he manipulates Atsushi into agreeing to joind the Ada, because he would not be welcome or acceptet anywhere else, instead of telling him, they were gonna accept him and teach him what he needed to know.
In episode 5 he conveniently shows up at the crime scene, 'by accident', causes Ranpo to get the job, gives just the right hints about the port mafia and later on explains the entire crime, as if he hadn't figured it out the minute he had gotten there to Atsushi and explains to him how Ranpo is infact not gifted, because he had risked the entire job and reputation Ranpo had had, simply to figure something out he had known since he first joined (entrance exam novel).
In episode 6 he sends a message to the agency claiming to be a the Azure messanger and threatens the agency with the bomb, instead of just telling them, that it was that way
In episode 7 he conveniently gets Rokuzo to read the email he sent to the azure messanger and gets two people killed without gicing a second shit about it, while Kunikida is pretty much freaking out about it.
Then he lets himself get kidnapped by a fourteen year old girl with an ability, as if it wouldn't have been the as if they had called him asked him to come, because he wants to find out who placed the bounty, along the way he conveniently threatens the entire mafia.
Then dark era, that speeks for itself. Though I have a hard time believing Dazai followed Odas advice, because he thought of him as a friend. I think Dazai thought he might learn the meaning of existing, if he kept following Oda around, because he had such strong ideals. I think, that's the reason he initinally left the pm, because he thought, maybe following the advice would get him a reason to live. (Or he really thought of Odasaku as friend, but after his death and Angos betrayal, he realized, there was no reason in trusting and getting attach, if everything would be ripped away eventually anyways, since it had happened to him countless times before, so he decided to leave all his attachements behind, that might just be more likely)
Him dissapearing, while the whole armed detective agency is fighting against the guild and conveniently showing up to save the day.
Slapping Atsushi, manipulating Kyouka into joining, the conversation with Mori (how he didn't just somewhere along the way spill one of the main reasons Mori was keeping him alive and threatened the port mafia boss), how he and Chuuya fought against the guild, the nurse after he got shot.
I could drag this list on for probably 10.000 more words, but what I'm trying to say is. From the very beginning, Dazais morals were different, than those from the rest, even the port mafia had more sane morals than Dazai did. So, whether Chuuya and Fyodor really will be dead in the next Chapter or not, he does believe he's drowining them, no rather, he is taking the risk, that they drown, because it is a possible way to kill them.

Can I very shortly mention how Dazai was never really a member of the armed detective agency to begin with? In order to become a member you have to do an entrance exam, once you passed that exam, Fukuzawas ability 'all men are equal' will automatically 'take controle' over the members ability, in most cases so the ability can be controled better, but it can surely also be used to shut the ability down, (at least I believe Kunikida or someone said something like this in Dazais entrance exam novel) meaning Fukuzawa basically has controle over the ability.
But Dazai is unaffected by any ability as I have explained multiple times in other posts. So therefore Dazai could not be an employee, at least not an employee that can be controled by Fukuzawa (not counting the not gifted members, since they only work as office workers and Ranpo). Therefore Dazai was never really an employee to Fukuzawa.

So uhm another idk headcanon (?) Why did the port mafia, in the four years Dazai was gone never go out and look for him. Like, the only one who went looking was Akutagawa (Dazais entrance exam in the novel), but that also didn't seem like something he was ordered to do. The mafia never went to look for him, nor once they knew where he was, did they try to capture and kill him (Yeah, Kyouka had him 'captured' once, but that was less of an acctual, you're being arrested because we want to kill you thing) They could have had him shot dead without anyone even noticing it had been the port mafia.
So, one Mori definetly wants Dazai for something, otherwise he would have had Dazai killed or simply put out of the way long ago. Two, they're afraid of Dazai, because they know what he can do, they have seen how little humanity someone can have, how cruel someone can be for no apparent or justified reason. And Three Dazai knows to much and Mori knows Dazai and Ango are 'in Contact' (meaning Ango would have believed every word Dazai told him when it was baout the port mafia), so the risk of all their secrets getting out, plus losing the chance to get Dazai back, was a bit too much for Mori.

Ok, so here's something to think about. Am I the only one who wondered why the mafia was so careful about attacking the agency after they found out out Dazai was with them? Like when Kyouka came there not a single mafia member showed up to take her back, even though they wouldn't just accept her being gone. NO they tried to abduct her else where and whenever the mafia went up against the agency they made sure Dazai wouldn't be there. So what I'm saying is, I think Dazai was somehow whether consciously or subconsciously protecting the armed detective agency because of his mere existence and the fact that the mafia was afraid of him since he just knew way to much.

Exactly my point, Chapter 101 left us with a huge cliffhanger, I can already see the next five chapters only being about the rest of the ada and we'll have to wait like half a year just to see if Chuuya and Fyodor are now dead or not? Like why!
It should be considered ILLEGAL the fact that bungou stray dogs only drops once a month
Like YES IVE BEEN READING THIS MANGA FOR THE PAST 4-5 YEARS BUT ITS ILLEGAL TO KEEP ME WAITING JUST TO SEE IF SOMEONE IS RLLY DEAD OR NOT

I think I kinda might have figured Fyodors ability out. So it's called crime and punishment, right? We saw how he revived someone, killed someone on touch and how he was somehow very confident in winning a game of cards, that had obviously been manipulated against his favor. So, whenever someone goes against him, he sees it as crime, therefore he chooses the appropriate punishment, out of his view. Or the punishment is chosen for him.
That's how he knew, he would win the game of cards, they were being manipulated against his favor, so he chose the punishment, that he will win. Someone wanted to touch and harm him, so he killed that person, because they touched him without his permition.
And the reviving, he revived him, just for the purpose of using him, maybe to kill of as many ability users, even thought he had always wanted to collect abilities. I'm guessing there is some backstory we don't know, but the point is, he revived and resolved the reviving as a form of punishment.
Maybe that's also why he has such a hard time against Dazai, because Dazai is unaffected by every ability, he doesn't nullify it, like I have explained in another one of my posts.

bsd. S1 E8, when Kyouka ,,captures" Dazai by using her ability. I mean the only real thing that happened here could be Dazai going with her by choice. There is no way an ability like Kyoukas could have ay effect on Dazai. I mean, when they ordered her to capture him, they must have known that, right? She had orders to capture Dazai, the mafia knew who Dazai was and somehow mori must have figured he'd go with her willingly. But why did they send Kyouka to a nullifyer, like i don't get it
