oikawa tooru is the type of boyfriend to:

“are you on your way home?” you’d ask on call, once he’d pick up, only for him to affirm. 

“yeah. why?”

“do you want me to come over, once you’re back? we can watch movies, if you want.”

“i’m tired. sorry,” he’d mumble, and you’d never get mad at him. you understood how much volleyball meant to him, and how exhausting it was for him after a particularly hard practice session.

“yep,” he’d say, “love you.”

“tooru, not now,” you’d firmly say, moving away from him. 

“why not?” he’d whine, a frown on his face.
