So now that Sims 4 is here to stay... should I give it another shot?

I managed to tweak the graphics just a little bit...

They're not mind-blowing, and I probably did something wrong, but I'm happy with the way my game looks :)!

Gonna try installing gshade next!

Fiddling with my graphics settings again bc it has just occurred to me that my game still looks ROUGH.

Which shouldn’t be the case because I can run newer games (DDV, Zoo Simulator, etc.) on high & they look amazing. WISH ME LUCK.

Jules finally came to visit! I'm so stoked :D

Piper pulls up to the house juuuuust before curfew-- she wanted to stay late at work to take advantage of an employees-only guitar class her manager was offering.

If I'm remembering correctly, she's now a level 3 in guitar and a level 2 on the violin!

At least they managed to wait until their kids were asleep before they started their "celebration."

One more unexpected birthday! Ben, Carlos and Jenni's oldest son, is now a young adult!

As much as I'm ready to wrap this gen up and move onto Bridgeport, Twinbrook really is stunning.

Robb: We should head home and celebrate.

Astoria: If you think that's cool, you're gonna love this: it turns out, we're gonna have another baby.

Astoria: I hear the new generation of ghostbusters use hands-free devices, but there's nothin' like this.

LMAO Carson drove himself home. I guess the PDA from his parents was too much.

The bistro could burst into flames and these two would have no idea.

I got back to dinner just in time for Lea to get a phone call-- Harvey asked her out (um. Yikes).

Lea: Harvey, ew, no! We're cousins.

Harvey: Yeah but... you have your cousins, and then you have your first cousins--

Lea: No, no, no. Never ask me that again. As a matter of fact, if a girl has 'Bell' in her name, it's safe to assume you shouldn't consider her eligible.

Harvey: Because she won't know how genealogy works?

Lea: I'm pretending this conversation never happened for my own sanity.

Additionally, Eliza (Celine's oldest with Buddy) has aged up as well. There are so many Bells at various life stages, and usually, at least one branch of the family tree is close to the main household, but aside from Melora (Carlos's daughter) and Lea, none of the cousins seem super close.

I do want to change that, so maybe once the baby's born, we can have a big party!

We interrupt this family outing to bring news from Twinbrook's wilds: Lainey, Gabriela and Thomas's younger daughter (third child overall) aged into a child! She's SO pale, she gave me a bit of a fright when I clicked over to see her.

Astoria prefers to eat alone on this fine evening (I forgot: Piper didn't come with us because she had to work). It's okay, though, because Carson nabs a seat with Gregorio, who's eating desert for dinner-- it's officially the cool kids' table.

Gregorio: You didn't wanna sit with your mom?

Carson: I tried. She kept eating over her plate, giving me the stink eye, and mumbling about how she's not sharing a single scrap of food, so don't ask.

Gregorio: Yeah, a nooboo on board will do that to a person.

Carson: A what now?!
