A blog based off of my essay about why Gumball Watterson is actually an all powerful god. No, I do not actually worship him. Background and Icon made by me, thank you for noticing.

I realize that the essay link that I provided on this blog I'd outdated, so the latest edition available is linked below. This is NOT a new edition, this is just the latest edition that I made from a few years back. I will post an updated blog post when a new edition is ready.

Is Gumball made out of Gum?
Well, his face is pretty malleable according to Darwin in “The Photo”...
#haven't seen this episode to confirm#but this is most likely due to his ability to edit his dna#i will correct this post if this turns out to be incorrect

So I just looked up the person that I was just asked about and not only did they read my essay, but they made a Gumball theory that my essay supports on the Gumball wiki blog LAST YEAR. Maybe I'm just finding out late but is my essay gaining traction??????

Are you secretly SuperSinger9000?
Nope! Never heard of them until you sent this, I looked them up and they apparently read my essay and mentioned it in a blog post, which is pretty funny to me cuz I didn't expect people to know about it

Characters who are not the Wattersons frequently demonstrate similar(albeit usually weaker) powers via "toon physics",though not as consistently.
It's safe to say that the other residents of Elmore are not average beings. Some have their own special abilities, but they show limitations far lower than Gumball. While one could argue that one character "kills" Gumball multiple times in the episode "The Phone", where they have a Space Invaders-like battle. Despite these "deaths", Gumball returns abruptly and never gets a "Game Over", which would have happened if he ran out of lives. I would consider these not actual deaths, since the "Game Over" is technically the permanent state. If his "deaths" ARE considered canonical deaths then we can just as easily consider Gumball's repeated return as resurrections. Either way, Gumball still maintains the status of most powerful in this comparison.

Darwin demonstrates many of the same powers as Gumball.
This is correct. As referenced in the "A Powerful Bond" section of my essay, Gumball and Darwin's hearts made a connection which, as I hypothesize, is a bridge that allows Gumball to share his powers with Darwin. As far as I've seen, Darwin can only accomplish physical feats that Gumball could also achieve, as they share the same power.

Would Nicole's parents factor into this at all?
I think the episode where they first appear came out after the current draft of my essay. I know they are intense people and raised her to be as competitive as she is today, so other than developing her motives as a character I'm not sure what abilities she inherited from each parent. This will of course be touched upon in my definitive edition.

Gumball is able to move so fast other characters can not even perceive him.
Not only that, but move fast enough to break time itself

In your essay, you claim Gumball has never been seen wearing a cast or bandages. This is blatantly wrong,he's been seen wearing such things in The Goons,The Curse,The Nuisance,The One,and possibly a few other episodes I forgot.
It's true Gumball has been seen with physical damage and medical bandages for some injuries. However, if my memory serves me right, those bandages and other marks vanish when the scene changes, as if they magically heal when not on frame. My wording may have been strange in that argument.
I will admit that I have not updated my essay since 2016, and therefore my evidence may be outdated with the introduction of future episodes which contradict these facts. I will also admit that I have not seen the Gumball series through to the finale, or even seen that particular episode "The Curse" in quite a long time, so my memory and total understanding of the series may be flawed.
As for "The Curse", I will have to re-watch that episode to make sure my evidence is valid. I do plan on watching the rest of Gumball at some point, as life has gotten much busier since I wrote this essay in sophomore year of high school. It pains me to say, because of this, that the current edition of my essay is obsolete and incomplete. I will have to make a final, definitive edition sometime in the future.
Thanks for your interest! I'll be sure to give you another response on "The Curse" asap.
#long post#this is the most active this blog has been in over a year#my gumball memory is a little rusty#but i gotta admit this is a fun revisit#maybe i should get on that essay revision soon#gumball#tawog

Gumball Watterson is a hero.
He's a hero because he chooses to be. As a being of chaotic nature and with many abilities that could easily cause more destruction than good, he simply does the best he can. Like Goku!
#i always like when people find this blog because it's such a niche corner of the internet#and even more niche cuz I'm the only one with a Gumball essay#goku

Hey so in the event that Tumblr burns down and this blog is lost, any more gumball analysis would happen over on my Twitter, @AbsorbGodsGrief https://twitter.com/AbsorbGodsGrief?s=09

Can you like update your essay? And actually include Darwin's feats cuz you're fucking wrong about him not demonstrating the power required to be a God.
Can I just say the fact that someone has actually read my essay recently and has new criticisms makes me SO HAPPY! I will be making a new edition of the essay, I've been trying to decide if I want to wait until the show ends (which I heard is soon?) that so it doesn't immediately get outdated when a new episode comes out, or just write it and change it as the final episodes are airing. Either way, yes I will be updating it and thank you for being interested enough to call me out on it 😂

After people die, they end up in the realm of the god that they believe in. You have just entered the Realm of Jeff, the god that you made up in 5th grade.
