I wanna relax in a maw and look at the world while snuggled up between a preds protective jaws. I want a pred to gently curl their big, warm tongue around me.

I had to break it into two parts because I got too indulgent and ended up writing a lot more than I thought

“...Hey, can we talk?”

Talk? What did Alex want to talk to me about? Had I done something wrong?

“Sure thing love” I replied as I tried to hide my unease.

“It’s just that we’ve been together for a while and it’s about time I told you the truth” I watched as Alex fidgeted with his hands.

The truth? Did this have something to do with why he had been avoiding me? What if he didn’t love me anymore? Was he…about to break up with me?

“I…understand, just say it” Tears filled my eyes as I prepared for the worst.

To my surprise, Alex gave me a look of surprise.

”Hey why are you crying…please don’t cry..” He leaned towards me and wiped the tears from my face.

”You’re…going to break up with me…right?” I sniffled

“What no! If anything you’re going to want to break up with me when I tell you this” he responded as he stroked my hair as if it would be the last time.

”Tell me what?”

Alex sighed.

”I’ve been craving you”

I wanted to ask for more context but my instincts knew what he meant. He was a predator, I was a prey.

“But not like you think. Yes, I do want to swallow you down, but I also don’t want to hurt you. I just…want the feeling of you being inside me. And the knowledge that you would be safe and warm because, I love you.” Alex explained.

Oh.

”That’s it?” I responded

“That’s…it?” Alex questioned

I started to laugh in relief “I’m so glad that was all it was. Bro, you had me scared.” My chest felt lighter from the tension being gone.

”So…you’re okay with me…having these urges?” he raised an eyebrow.

”You said yourself that you don’t want to hurt me, so we’re good. To be honest, I’ve kind of always wanted to ask you to…um, well, you know.”

“Wait…you want me to consume you?”

“Yeah…?” My face was starting to redden and so did his.

Luckily the waiter came to the table with our orders so we didn’t have to continue this somewhat serious topic until after we had eaten.

The rest of the dinner was a bit quieter than usual, but I think that was just because we were both thinking things over.

“I think we should do it tonight. You know, since it’s Valentine’s Day and all” I suggested as my boyfriend walked me to my car.

“Are you sure? I mean I don’t want you to feel like you were pressured into doing anything.” He asked.

“I’m sure, I’ll meet you at your house” I smiled.

Alex’s house always looked so tidy, the complete opposite of my messy apartment.

I sat on the couch while Alex brought me a glass of water.

“Prey can get dehydrated while inside a stomach, so I just want to make sure you’ll be okay,” Alex told me as he handed the glass over.

“You’re too sweet” I was thankful for his attentiveness because I admit I was a bit nervous.

After some preparation, it was time.

“So have you ever…you know…done it?” I asked.

Alex nodded before getting closer “And I’m very skilled at it so you have nothing to worry about. Though, I might check on you like..every five minutes” he chucked.

“Alright big guy, do your thing,” I said as confidently as I could.

I didn’t expect him to immediately lift me off of the ground. I made a small sound of surprise as I got used to being at this height.

“Sorry I’m sorry, I’ve just been wanting to do this for so long” he held me gently.

“How long?” I asked

“Since I fell in love with you”

Before I could get another word in he put my head into his mouth and started swallowing. Everything was so dark with the only light coming from any peeking through his open mouth. It was like a tunnel but if a tunnel squeezed you as you went through it.

I could tell he was taking his time gulping me down. I didn’t mind at all. This was fun. The anticipation of getting to the stomach was killing me though.

Eventually, that part did come. I slid in and fell with a plop. There was a lot more space than I had thought there would be. The only thing was I couldn’t see anything.

Suddenly heart-shaped lights fell into the stomach and I could see.

“Everything okay in there love?” Alex asked me. I could feel that he was massaging his stomach.

“Yeah, I’m doing great!” I decided to return the favor by rubbing the stomach walls around me. The texture was a bit strange but it was really warm. I felt the walls of the stomach tighten around me and it sounded like Alex was…laughing.

“That tickles….a lot.” He said as I heard him take some deep breaths.

“Oh? You mean this” I then went full in on the massage which put both him and me into an uncontrollable bouts of laughter.

Once we had calmed down, I felt my boyfriend settle down onto something.

“I’m gonna watch a movie, want me to swallow your phone so you can see it too?” He asked

“No, it’s fine…I think I’m gonna take a rest…it’s comfy in here. But you better watch some really cheesy rom-com and tell me all about it.” I couldn’t stop the yawn that came from my mouth as my eyelids fought to stay open.

I heard and felt a small gurgle around me.

“Haha okay. Rest well, my love. Oh and, happy Valentine’s Day” he told me

I closed my eyes and smiled “Happy Valentine’s Day”

My eyes are wide. My breathing is fast and erratic as I watch the world outside disappear. Your jaws close around me, sealing me in you maw. I shift uncomfortably as you lick me over with your tongue. Gravity suddenly shifts. I let out a terrified whimper as I slide towards your bottomless throat. I reach out, frantically trying to find anything that will give me purchase, but it’s hopeless. Regardless of what I do, I can’t grab hold of anything.

I slide helplessly down your tight throat. I can hear your stomach growl, eagerly awaiting my arrival. My eyes start to fill with tears. How could you betray me like this? I just wanted some comfort… how could you do this to me.

I slide into your stomach. The walls gently massage me, coating my body in a warm slime. I pull my knees to my chest and hug them. I can barely breathe. I can feel my body going numb. i can feel you…. Purring. My already wide eyes widen at the gentle vibrations. It’s soothing.

My muscles start to involuntarily relax. The tension in my shoulders fades. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I can breathe clearly. My nose is no longer blocked. I feel calm.

I look down at my hands. I’m okay. Nothing is melting, nothing itches or burns. In fact, I feel good. No more chest pain, no more back pain, nothing. It’s peaceful.

My tears slowly stop. I’m safe. Nothing can hurt me anymore. I understand it now. You just wanted to help me, to protect me. I’ve been in pain for so long, and you just wanted to take that pain away, if only for a little bit.

I’m sorry I didn’t trust you. I cried, struggled, and kicked, but you remained patient with me. My thoughts start to slow as my eyelids droop. I can’t stay awake anymore. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep. Finally at peace.
