I lay it out, take a picture for you, and send it to your email along with all the details of what the layout means for you so you can have a bit of a plan of your month ahead. The great thing about having it in your inbox is that you can save the reading for reference throughout your month. It's been 2 weeks now that we were gifted with this wee little soul! I think she was around 5-6 weeks of age when I brought her in. My neighbor found her the next morning after the mother cat left her in his yard. He didn't want her and said if she stayed he would kill it (I do live in a rural area), but he did ask if we wanted her first. I took her off his hands telling him that if we decided not to keep her I'd take her to the rescue, but honestly, before walking all the way across with her, I knew she'd be staying. While I was in the hospital earlier this year, our eldest cat, Noodle (aka The Ancient One), departed this mortal realm to rejoin my mother. I'm glad they are reunited, but I did miss Noodle. Our pack was missing her too. Even Boomie, the cranky one, missed her. So we welcomed in this little angel and the Pack took to her immediately! Boomie has begun showing her the ways of their little fur fam dynamic and making sure the little one knows her place among them. At the bottom. The dogs, Athena and Lux, are just enamored with her! Lux has claimed the baby as her own and is showing mothering instincts I didn't know she had. She does helicopter parent though. She needs to know where the baby is at every given moment. Athena is only slightly less obsessive, but only because Lux likes to make sure Athena knows that the baby belongs to her. Sierra, has been obsessed with Monster Hunter Rise lately and named the little kitten "Nargacuga" and we have been calling her "Narga."

I finally got around to uploading some new work pics. Just to catch up, back at the end of February, I sprained my ankle and the sprain when septic. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital, 6 weeks after on antibiotic infusions daily at the hospital, and I'm still going to Wound Care. I had a wound vac in the beginning, but that was came off in May! I have a visit there on Tuesday, but I believe they are ready to declare me healed and release me and that is such a relief! However, due to the medication, stress, and my age, I don't bounce back like I did in my 20's and 30's. I developed alopecia that is temporary, but due to the severity of my hair loss, I shaved off. It is filling back in as it grows. I still see a little thinning, but the bald spots are covered and it's not falling out past normal shedding now. I started on some vitamins, changed my shampoo and conditioner and am staying focused on work. But, I'm going to look very different from my older work photos for awhile and decided to upload new ones. Just going to embrace the super micro pixie I gave myself. I really don't hate it, though I miss my wavy hair, not going to lie. However, I'm in the Southern US and it's been very hot. I do cover with a silk scarf to avoid sunburn on my scalp, but otherwise, it actually feels good to have my hair this short!

The Good Omens Card Game is coming out June 5! 🥳❤

Renegade Game Studios will release Good Omens: An Ineffable Game June 5th, charging players with stopping the apocalypse in seven different battle games, each of which you can learn as you play, all in one box! Each of the seven cooperative battle games sees players taking on a different challenge, and each can be played at varying difficulties!

Alright bitches, here's your relationship TedTalk today:

If you're comparing your life to an ex and their life and you tell me you're over the ex, you're not. You can tell me as many times as you want that you are over them, but sometimes it "still hurts" you're not over them at all. You're not. You can lie to yourself, but you can't lie to me. And the more you try to convince me that you're over an ex, the more you say the same thing over and over to me the less you are over that person and your really trying to convince yourself so you don't have to face why you're not letting them go. I don't even have to be psychic to smell that bullshit a mile away. I suggest good therapy. With an actual relationship therapist. While you're at it, stop overthinking your spirituality. Religion and society has really messed with your head. It's not rocket science. Just trust yourself. That's a good start. And if you are doing weed because you have trouble meditating and want to see the visions and you start telling everyone and their brother how damn woke you are, sit your ass down and be quiet. You are not "woke," you daft ass. You're just high. Sober the fuck up and put your brain back in gear. Learn to meditate properly. Again, you can choose to keep to lying to yourself, but you can't lie to me. Get your head out of your ass and actually wake the fuck up.

Ya gotta slow down!

TMI, but ya'll know you're as guilty as I am, so listen up. I'm setting up my daily blog post for my website and right before I pull the cards, I had to go to the bathroom and I realized as I took my cell phone in there, I can't even use the bathroom without feeling like I have multi task. Yes, I sat there and updated an app with my morning blood sugar reading because when I took my reading, I didn't log it. I realized this was wrong in the moment, but I still logged in my reading, when honestly, I could have done that when I sat back down to work. We are so conditioned to not "waste time" that even going to the bathroom has become another "office" for many of us. You know you're guilty as fuck, so don't even side eye me like that. Keep reading, you got this far...

Listen, slow your roll. You've got make yourself and your needs a priority or you can't make anyone else a priority in your life. You have got to relax. Take some time to breathe and just breathe without trying to multitask.

Here's the rub, when I got out of the bathroom, already acknowledging that I can't even do that without fully relaxing, I start to pull the cards for today's blog. If you don't believe me, listen to your angels:

Today, prioritize your overall well being. Take today and treat yourself well. Take a salt bath with some lit candles. Go to a movie with a friend or just on your own. Keep a journal and write in it and meditate. Create something beautiful for just you. Set healthy boundaries. There is never a day where you don’t matter. Make yourself a priority so that you can keep your own cup full, no one is going to do that for you. When you need a little extra boost, see your doctor, your mental health specialist, or open up to someone you can trust. Your overall health is important. You are important and you matter. `~
