On stone
“My arousal has always come from what I could touch or see in her, it has never come from the attention to my own body. When many years ago I finally met someone who liked to take as much as I liked giving and who recognized that it was her stimulation that triggered mine- that I understood that I could find women who wouldn’t run away from a stone butch. I’m not uncomfortable with my body, it’s just that my erogenous zones lay within her.” –Anonymous Commenter
As a high femme, reading this for the first time a year or something ago was equivalent to cathartic.

“[k.d. lang] is a woman who was clearly born to perform.”
“Not that you’d necessarily know she’s a woman at first sight. Tall and broad-shouldered, wearing a black cutaway coat flecked with gold, black pants, and her favorite steel-toed black rubber shitkicker work boots, she looks more like a cowboy. Her glossy dark hair is full but short, and when she tosses her head and strides across the stage on those long, strong legs, you suddenly realize she’s moving with a kind of physical freedom you’ve never seen a female singer display onstage before.” (Leslie Bennetts, 1993)

if you don’t see medical transition as something that can coexist with butch identity, you need to leave my blog immediately and maybe even block me.
someone replied to my lisa frankenstein post saying “This is fucking creepy. Phalloplasty isn’t butch, it’s torture.”
incorrect claim and frankly unproductive to even debate this. first of all, this is a kink blog that revolves around gender as a construct; why are you, a vocal anti-transition detransitioner, even here? anyways, here was my full response to them, because if you share that dumbass opinion, this is for you as well:
no one cares, just because detransition was right for you doesnt mean others shouldnt transition. seek therapy so that you might stop projecting whatever damage you have onto others. maybe if its so creepy to you, you should have just blocked me and moved on. personally, i love embracing all butches, especially ones who see transition as something that goes hand in hand with their butch identity. i hope you find a way to actually be happy and not just tearing other people down. maybe you should also consider getting hobbies irl and not just telling kink blogs on tumblr that eroticizing trans bodies is creepy. fuck off.
i love trans people and i will always see the act of transition as a fascinating act of creation. if you disagree, then why are you on a forcemasc/forcebutch kink blog in the first place?
side note that while this blog tends to focus a lot on transmasc butches (because my partner is a transmasc butch), i hold the same exact opinions on transition for transfem people, in that i will always embrace it.
(if you want to know the blog to block, dm me, but i will not be spreading anything because it is not personally worth it to me.)

"Femmes, through a reshaped femininity, exhibit an assertive sexuality that does not conflate desire with political practice. This very assertiveness can be politically empowering for femmes who like to play with the idea of power but are not disempowered by this play. For example, femmes with a bottom identification can renegotiate the dynamics of passivity/activity such that their feminine position is one of receiving pleasure rather than of being receptive solely for someone else's pleasure. What seems to be passivity is actually activity: she allows the butch to control her pleasure, but this control and the pleasure are exactly what the femme has demanded. For the bottom femme as for other varieties of femme sexuality--top, s/m, bisexual, or others--her own female sexual agency is paramount. The femme who plays with power provides a model that negotiates rather than ignores power differentials in relationships. [...] In many ways, femmes' chosen pleasures rather than politically prescribed pleasures are radically feminist."
-- "An Introduction to Sustaining Femme Gender," written by Laura Harris & Liz Crocker. (Emphasis in bold mine.)
