That’s right! Tax Freedom Day 2015 is April 24th. That means that you still haven’t earned a penny this year. Congratulations!

Tax Freedom Day is the day when the nation as a whole has earned enough money to pay its total tax bill for the year. Tax Freedom Day takes all federal, state, and local taxes and divides them by the nation’s income. In 2015, Americans will pay $3.28 trillion in federal taxes and $1.57 trillion in state and local taxes, for a total tax bill of $4.85 trillion, or 31 percent of national income. This year, Tax Freedom Day falls on April 24, or 114 days into the year.

But that’s not all! In 2015, Americans will spend more on taxation than they will on food, clothing and housing…combined.

Make no mistake, our economy would grow exponentially if we let people keep the money they earn. Not only would people simply have more money in their respective bank accounts, but without the threat of higher taxation, people would have a greater incentive to work, invest, hire and so on. But until then, let’s live life and enjoy the fruit of our own labor…after April 24th, of course.

I got rejected transferring into a program and set on a wait list. Being the impatient being I am, I started my interest and tried that degree out cause I had time to kill. A few months in and totally enjoying it, they called. I turned them down and kept pursing what I am doing now. I'm transferring next semester and just finished the paperwork to register today. Now my nerves are kicking in about starting at a new place!!! It's scary but hang in there😊. You will find your way!

School Stress! XP

I am coming up on my last two quarters of community college and it is kind of stressing me out the closer I get to beginning of the quarter. It’s not even due to being almost done, it’s more so Transferring to a 4 - year University.

I really only have one that I want to go to. I just keep getting these what ifs in my head. What if I don’t make it into the program I want? What if I can’t afford to go? What if I don’t get accepted? And so on….

I know I should be stressing over it as much as I am right now, but I can’t help it. The more I work on it and look into it, the little more stress I get about it. *sigh*
