A House that Still Stand, A witness of the Past

Bahay na tisa was the testimony of pasig's profound history, this house witnessed a lot of events in our past; the martial law where it became the freedom house and was used as a meeting place for both anti and pro-marcos groups, alongside this astonishing happening, bahay na tisa was also built in 1846 and was one of the buildings that survived the word war 11.

The antiques that you will see here is new as a shining jewelry but behind-closed door is a history that will never be left behind as it mark one of the features that makes Pasig an outstanding city.

Bahay na tisa were now use by our young individuals who were featuring vintage houses. It was also use as a tourist attractions for historian travelers

In 2009, the local government of Pasig City conferred the “Dangal ng Lahi” award to Bahay na Tisa for its cultural contributions to the city. 154 years after the house was built, Bahay na Tisa was declared by the National Museum as an Important Cultural Property.

The Bahay na Tisa is also home to the Santo Niño de Pasion. On Sundays after Easter, the sick people in the area gather inside the house to receive the Holy Communion and the benediction of the Parish Priest.
