Okay, I've been seeing a lot of people on AO3 complain about the Hermitcraft tags using their actual names and then use those tags anyways. The odds of them seeing this are slim, but I see it so often that I can't just comment it on every fic.

You don't have to use the AO3 tags that have a mcyt's real name on your fic.

It will still show up in the same character tag if you type "Mumbo Jumbo" rather than "Oliver Brotherhood". This works with ship tags too, & or /. Trust me. Or test it and see for yourself. You won't lose any potential audience if you use the tag that doesn't have the content creator's real name in it.

This goes for both Hermitcraft and any other Minecraft SMP fanfics. Badboyhalo/Skeppy will still put your fic in the main ship tag that has their two real names.

Until the AO3 tag wranglers fix this, this is the best way to fix it yourselves. Show them you don't want to use the tags with the real person's name by not using it. If you keep using it, they're going to look at their stats and go "But the majority of people are using this tag, why would I change it?"

I've been asking myself: Why do mumbo and grian make such a nice combo? Did I see any similar kind of friendship before?

@bruhman745 ‘s fic Wings and his Wingman has me in shambles. SHAMBLES I SAY!!! There are an obscene number of things I want to draw from this fic, but this scene in particular had me giggling so much and Mumbo’s obliviousness just has me grinning like an idiot, so I had to put it down on proverbial digital paper!!!

I could go on and on and on about the characterization and dialogue, but you’re just gonna have to take my word for it n read it yourself, I’m enjoying it so much!! Ty for this gift of a fic, friend <3
