♡ Run by Alex, Nastya, & Vicki ♡ "A groupie is just a music-loving muse. It's a give-and-take with a musician and the ladies who love them, or boys who love them, and it's all one big happy connection. It's inspiring them to be great, they inspire us to be great. It's a real, beautiful, life-affirming thing." —Pamela Des Barres. January met Pamela by chance in Sausalito one day, and she asked him if he’d have a drink with her. He suggested a couple of places they might go, but Pamela preferred privacy, so they bought a bottle of wine at the corner store and went back to January’s house instead. As they sat and drank their wine, Pamela said, “You know, I just have no desire to live without Jim; I can’t live without him.”

Track: Songbird
Artist: Fleetwood Mac
Album: Rumours (1977)
“That was a strange little baby, that one. I woke up in the middle of the night and the song just came into my head. I got out of bed, played it on the little piano I have in my room, and sang it with no tape recorder. I sang it from beginning to end: everything. I can't tell you quite how I felt; it was as if I'd been visited - it was a very spiritual thing.”
— Christine McVie (1943-2022)
Rest in peace, Songbird. Thank you. 🕊️❤️

“For a girl who looked like a doll, playing with a real doll’s house - and to be sharing it with one of the world’s most attractive and eligible young men — was a fantasy, let alone for a girl who was only eighteen.” - Tony Bramwell
