Ciekawa teoria

The Nine Headed Beast's most interesting line is not what you think it is (Season 5 Spoilers)

When i watched season 5, one line stood out to me:

Nine: "It's just that someone... is about to win"

MK: "Win...What-?"

Nine: "Good luck MK. You, and the others will need it. After all, you... have opened Pandora's box."

Now, why did this stand out to me?

Well, first of all, because Pandora's box is a greek myth, which is strange to mention in a show that is all about chinese mytholgy.

So, there is clearly something here, that the creators wanted us to notice. And that "something" I found.

As you probaly know Pandora's box (or jar originally), is about Pandora, the first human created by the gods.

She was gifted a box by the gods, that contained all the evils of the world, and was told not to open it.

She, sadly though, opened it, releasing it all out into the world. Explaining why evil exists in the world, in the first place.

BUT, there is one thing that most people dont know/ forgot.

Because there was one last thing that didnt get out, before she shut the box again: Hope.

This acutally makes a lot of sense in the state of the show right now:

The universe almost got destroyed, MK bassicaly died, and he also used the TIGHTNING SPELL on Wukong.

In other words, we defiently need some hope in the next season.

There is also the fact that there are two ways to look at hope in Pandora's box:

You can view it as a bad thing, aka that hope makes us blind to the real world (which charactheres like Nüwa and LBD seems to view it as)

OR You can view it as a good thing, aka that hope motivates us to contiue to fight, even when everything seems to be in despair (which most of the main cast follows)

And what does this all mean? I have no idea-

Yes- I know... kind of a weird way to end a theory

But honestly this is more of a detail I noticed, for you guys to ponder over, instead of theory.

Because i really I think there is something here (maybe even something that could connect us back to that "someone" who is about to win)

But there is still SO MANY mysteries we got from season 5, we have yet to understand.

So... hope this detail can help! (and hope your sanities are doing ok after season 5 :)
