Shouichi is a fantastic character, everyone who watches Agito knows that, but ive been thinking: not enough folks talk about how cool Kamen Rider Agito is. Like i think he’s severely underrated, he’s equal to Kuuga in terms of looks but with a completely different unknowable vibe. Even when talking to Agito fans he’s so often eclipsed by other riders in the show, including by myself! But i’ll never forget how amazing all of the early Unknown fights were. How crazy it was when Shouichi would get in the zone and race off to save someone. That one time he still had stuff on his face from cooking but was too locked in to care. That incredible first henshin on the Akatsuki, one of my favorite moments in all of Kamen Rider. It’s all so cool! Agito is so cool!

Presenting THE EXILE OF MORGAN RED-MAW, a story inspired by Shotaro Ishinomori's Kamen Rider and the Irish legendary Ulster cycle, and written (as best as I can manage) in the style of the latter.

Highly recommended for fans of scary morally-dubious women with gender, sick as hell anime fights, and the tragedy wrought by over-the-top honour-codes.

(As you can tell by the title in the link, this is intended to be the first of a series of stories. We'll see! I certainly had a lot of fun with this one.)

You get to the end of a showa sentai episode and the ED is like "oh, beautiful heroes who would lay down their life for the planet...we sing you this elegy at sunset..." and then the next episode preview is like "Trampoline Parrot is stealing everyone's school lunch!" and then you watch the next episode and most of it is about the green ranger consoling a kid whose parents were run over and killed as the villains escaped from their school lunch heist and then they defeat Trampoline Parrot by giving it a Christmas present that has a giant cartoon bomb inside
