EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self 2nd Edition is available now!

EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self is a tabletop RPG for 2-6 players. Look deep inside yourself to find the power lying dormant within, nourish that power through the bonds you build with others, and use the reality-bending abilities it grants you to fight for your ideals, fighting against the pull of the Undertow, the psychic tides that dictate the collective unconscious!

EIDOLON uses our own Drawn From the Undertow game system, which replaces dice with a deck of tarot cards. Each action requires a draw, and each card dictates a new direction for the story to go. Play The Magician, and "you achieve an impossible success," but play The Tower, and "something terrible happens." Each character also chooses their own Resonant and Dissonant cards, which act as their own personal critical successes and failures!

Eidolon Diska is a story fundamentally about the limits of the TTRPG medium. Everyone is stepping on each others toes, the gm hates your guts for ruining his story, the stats make no sense, and suddenly your funny friend is homphobic because god said so.

But in that chaos, if you open the door for others, you can make wonderful things happen. It's like a herd of cats, yowling and snapping at each other, but beautiful when they all line up.

Helping Four Sisters: Four Campaigns (Update 2)

I'm making this post to help spread the campaigns for four sisters currently in the Gaza Strip, and their efforts to escape.

Second Update added to the contents of this post.

The women in question are a business owner with two young daughters, an educator, an internship MD, and a photographer. They've each started respective campaigns in an effort to help their parts of their families.

You can also follow their instagram accounts: @asiafmostfa (Asia), @nusaibafmust (Nusaiba), @queen_gazal_gal (Sumya), and @asmaa_fawzy_photographer (Asma). They've made posts showcasing the condition of their displaced lives in Rafah right now.

Asia's fundraiser was completed, but the Rafah border closed before any evacuation was possible.

With help, she has set up a fundraiser for help living in displacement. Please do not hesitate to help her, even a small amount will be invaluable.

Terrible news regarding Asia's family, her brother, and her sister in law, as per their instagrams and most recent GFM updates and photos.

During the middle of the night in July, their home was bombed.

The brother of Abdulluh was married to Manar, and had three children: Taqa, Hamza, and Lama.

Abdulluh, Taqa, and Hamza were martyred in an IOF strike.

Manar and Lama are alive, but have sustained serious injuries, as has Asia's sister Asma mentioned above. ("Help a photographer from Gaza start over.") Eight family members in total were injured.

Unable to cross the border for medical exceptions, the only way for these families to receive support is through funding like this. Please keep them in mind and support them.

Zeina and Doaa

Doaa is a teacher and a mother, and Zeina is her daughter in kindergarten. Their life, unfortunately, has been completely uprooted. They've been displaced more than five times. Doaa has contracted hepatitis, Zeina has had various ailments since their initial displacement.

In order to survive, they've made this campaign.

Is it not completely insane and mind blowing that a few days ago just marked a solid year of this and we still get lukewarm headlines by mainstream media about how Israel is now ACCUSED of attacking Gaza hospitals (w no actual penalties for it)…. Think pieces by the New York Times that do their absolute best to tiptoe around the subject, if not outright fail to address it…….. and this is most insulting of all but I even saw more than one headline “honoring the memory” of the IOF soldiers who died in a recent attack…… and this all sounds made up but it’s not. It truly is all you see when you look up the news. Truly nothing has changed
