In the Japanese version of Super Mario 64, the mother penguin in Cool, Cool Mountain will become angry at Mario and chase him if he picks up the baby penguin after returning it. By talking to the mother penguin in this state in a specific spot, she will continue walking in a straight line further than normally possible. If she walks onto the ski lift platform, and Mario steps on the lift to activate it, she will fall down into the abyss as shown in the footage.
