I have just been talking to Ahed Alanqar, a father who is living in Gaza with his wife Maisoon and their three children (Fatima, who is 9, Iman, who is 6, and Nour, who is 1). Iman has developed a deformity in her right foot which she needs treatment for. Ahed is trying to raise funds so the family can leave Gaza, but it costs between 5,000 and 7,000 dollars just to leave Gaza as a single adult and 2,500 dollars for each child. So you can imagine how difficult it must be to raise enough money for 2 adults and 3 children. Please share this post and read Ahed's story on his fundraiser. Donate if you can. Even a small amount can start to make a difference and build towards this family's evacuation.

Christmas is over, people celebrate by exchanging gifts and expressing their love for each other. As for me, my share on this day was only a little donation. I do not want this money for outings or entertainment, but for my basic needs such as personal hygiene items, food and drink just to survive.
