INTERVIEW // We talked with David Rupert, @davidrupertpainter, a painter with a fondness of nature. As a child he was free to roam all throughout nature which he grew a fascination for that has stuck with him to this day. All of his nature scenes that he paints aren鈥檛 driven by what he sees, but more so what he feels. He doesn鈥檛 use any reference photos and tries to shy away from any and all influences, which is why he hasn鈥檛 owned a television in more than 7 years. Since emotions drive his work, he can鈥檛 have them hijacked.聽聽Artists today let things around them, such as news that seems to always be full of saddening stories, influence what is most important to their work, their emotions. So we encourage you to go and explore his world of paintings, it might just serve as an escape to a world of beauty and green.
