Tryouts for the 2013 Season

The Greater Cincinnati Baseball Club, Cincinnati Galaxy, is looking to expand to include 8U, 9U, and 10U players for next season. We're hosting an open tryout for new players on Aug. 11th and 25th at 10 a.m. at Landen-Deerfield Park Field #1 in Maineville, OH. Please choose either date.

We are looking for enthusiastic 8U, 9U and 10U players who want to learn fundamentals and gain a love of the game. The team philosophy is to create an environment where the players can develop and learn skills, compete at the select level and enjoy playing baseball. We look forward to helping them grow and have a great baseball season.

Hello Galaxy Fans - Kroger has changed the process for giving non-profits like us community rewards donations. This way is actually simpler. Instead of charging and spending with giftcards, you now simply have to swipe your Kroger card and the team gets a portion. We need your help. Sign-up and register your Kroger Plus account and assign the Galaxy as your beneficiary. We're putting the instructions in the notes. Our number is 82443.

• Go to Kroger.com and sign-in to your My Kroger account. (If you don't have one, you'll need to create one using the card you swipe or the alternate ID (phone number) you type in at the register.) • Click on My Account. • Click on Community Rewards (the bottom option). • Enter the Galaxy NPO number - 82443 - and make sure it lists the Greater Cincinnati Baseball Club as the organization.

If you're unsure of your Kroger Plus number, you can get it by calling 800-576-4377, select option 4.
