Born in the 80's, growing up in the 90's, and wrenching in the 00's. Our humble paths crossed with a singular passion for cult classic automotive traditions. We can be seen working on cars, racing on track and mixing it on the street. Our aim is to explore and rejuvenate pinnacle points of car tuning. This is our tribute to the golden automotive eras, into the next generation. We are Greasers.

Building a racecar is all good until you have to take it racing for the first time. It's stressful leading up to a track day, stuff needs to be prepared with to-do lists that read “New parts to be installed, needs a new tune, major service- change all fluids, pack tools, bring fluids”. Many either forget or don’t think until a mate or the girlfriend asks “how are you going to take it there?” and it's “oh, crap!” or “FML!” followed by a mad rush to find a car trailer and a tow vehicle.
She is a run of the mill, heavy duty, 2-tonne, double axle, braked car trailer. September 2016 saw her inaugural tow transporting Simon’s Levin to Wakefield Park Raceway, Goulburn, 2 hours south of Sydney. The old girl did a solid job transporting the Levin coupe but was in desperate need of TLC and low car friendly mods.
Issues that needed to be addressed:
The trailer guards were too high for a lowered car to open its doors. This meant the person steering the car would be trapped inside unable to exit.
The front bar would catch the short ramps before the front wheels could roll onto it.
Loading wheels on the tyre rack were cumbersome and difficult.
Onto the makeover, more: http://www.greaserco.com/work

We got talking to his old man and found out the NSX has always been his dream car and he thought this would be a good opportunity for a father and son project, “I’m an old man now and he's all I got. I want to enjoy the time I have with him because you know, I can't take it with me”.
Speaking to dad was a nice reminder of why we got into cars. It’s not the e-fame or about making money (never for the money, what money, we’re broke AF?!) but to create tangible memories with someone special like your old man, your son or with friends. Cars are great for getting us around, but we think they do an even better job at helping us relive some of our fondest memories.

My favourite cars from WTAC 2015 show and shine- For me execution was the name of the game. The styling, panel gaps, paint, overall stance, presence and the ability to make you look twice was all on point for everyone of these cars.

Even though I’m enjoying the DC2R, I sometimes catch myself missing a RWD car, particularly the rear end feedback. In the DC2R, it sort of just does its own thing and you’re left waiting for it to follow through, or for the weight to move around ( enough ) so you can feel it before you react and in the case of the stock suspension, it sometimes feels like forever.
Maybe its time to upgrade the suspension on the DC2R.
