The Orgy After the Funeral

After the funeral things got weird when Jane took off her clothes smiling.

Because we remembered what smiles were, we all took off our clothes.

We pulsed against each other. A rhythmic slapping, This was our dirge of Sweat. Skin. As though we could fuck the death out of each other.

This must be what Eternity feels like, lasting 20 minutes. When the orgy ended we lay exhausted. A wilting bouquet of flesh.

We fell asleep together. We woke up alone.
