Mario Kart with Johnny Depp || Brook & Gray

Gray had been at SEAD for about a month already, living there, honing his abilities day by day. It was like a free vacation. He got to live in a place much nicer than where he lived before all of this, he got to quit his job for the time being. And he got to be a freaking superhuman freely. Could it get any better?

He was the first of the superhumans that agreed to stay at SEAD, mostly because he just wanted more time and freedom to practice his newfound power. But as he exited his room, number 1, he noticed his new roommate seated on the couch in the lounge. She was playing Mario Kart on the flat screen television and had not yet noticed him. 

Gray loved his ability for the simple reason that it allowed him to get into people’s minds. He decided to fool with her a little. Silently, he focused all of his energy on her, on what he wanted her to hear and see. He decided to shape himself into someone most of the girls usually went crazy for, Johnny Depp. Then something like a wave of energy rushed through him- he’d come to recognize that as a telltale sign that the illusion was holding up. 

With the thumbs up, the young man stepped over to the side of the couch, crossing his arms and glimpsing at the girl, then the screen. “Mario Kart! That’s my favorite, you know? Don’t mind if I join you?”
