This is so cool, thank you so much!! I love the dramatic shading, and with present-day Scout standing behind them, it comes across like he's watching his younger self in the memory; reliving, but unable to change anything, and modelling his current-day behaviour into a pathological extreme as a way of attempting to fix it instead. It really gets across the feeling of dissociation I was going for as well as the shock and anxiety felt in the moment!! ^_^

Heyo! Same anon that asked about friedrich’ addiction, But now I have a new question..How did Angus lose his eye? I know that RED!Demo got his eye removed by Merasmus, but I was just thinking if BLU!Demo had it any different? (And just another reminder that your art is SCRUMPTIOUS!! Take breaks and stay hydrated!)

Angus’ eye

When Angus was around 14-15 years old his father had decided that it was time to slowly involve him in the family business. One day he took his son out to a demolition site to oversee a building getting demolished to make room for a new distillery. Angus was fascinated by the whole thing and decided to try his hand at it at home in the family’s workshop, where a pipe bomb he had made exploded right into his face, taking his eye out.

Angus being kind of a perfectionist and not wanting to leave anything half done, went back to the drawing board as soon as he was well again and started perfecting his designs to his parents dismay. His hearing was permanently damaged and his eye is completely gone.

His mother is not happy with her sons dangerous hobby.
