The extravagant “Moon Bed”. Made in 1876 as a gift to the West, the bed is a stunning example of Chinese carving, decorative illustration, and joinery. No fasteners or glue were used in its original construction.

@gongziyus tagged me in a meme and I am sorry that I am incredibly boring and only have bad quality cat photos and irrelevant phone screenshots in my camera roll at this time. But I wish to reciprocate at the very least, so this post is for you. 4 non-selfies from my camera roll, together telling the thrilling saga of the world's least photogenic cat who refuses to sleep on a cat bed.

surrounded and oppressed by unwanted comfiness (the big snuggler bed in the right hand corner is occupying the place where he usually sleeps)
ready for bed but can't go to bed because there's a bed on the spot that's his bed
comfy cozy in the middle of my bed (extremely rare nice photo of him being cute in good light!!!)
glare of death from his blankie bed where he had been sleeping adorably until I wanted to take a photo of him. So far he seems unaware that I have slipped the flat grey cat bed underneath it 😈
Maybe one day he will be brave enough to sleep directly on a cat bed, but I am not holding my breath.
