DESCRIPTION
https://www.graptek.com/ Graphite Electrode Lift Plug is used for the transfer of graphite electrode and electrode columns to or from the electric arc furnace. It is a safe and effective lifting device with hoisting ring. In this way, the accidental breakage of the electrode and thread injury caused by vibration are avoidable during the hoisting process.
Our lifting plugs are manufactured with high quality certified steel components and original graphite parts. The threads of the lifting plugs are exactly matched with the electrode socket. They also have the same character with the graphite electrode. While transporting the electrode columns, we recommend to use a shock absorber.
FEATURE High precision thread accuracy. Resistant to elevated temperature. High machining accuracy, good surface finishing. Outstanding resistance to breakage. Safe and effective for electrode transfer. Proof-tested by a certified calibrated hydraulic testing machine. DESCRIPTION
https://www.graptek.com/products/graphite-electrode-nipple.html Graphite Electrode Nipple are used to connect two or more electrodes into column. And the purpose of that is to realize continuous use of electrodes in electric arc furnace steelmaking process. Nipples, with conventional external threads surface, are the important clamping device to extend the electrode length. Doing this avoids the unproductive consumption in smelting.
As a technical manufacturer, we know that the mismatch between the graphite electrode body and the nipple will lead to the electrode breaking during use. This not only just is an unproductive consumption in smelting, but also increases the amount of carbon in the molten steel. For these reasons, all electrode nipples are produced by our factory, not purchased.
FEATURE High bulk density, precision thread accuracy. Check the tolerance of nipples one by one. Bending strength limits are measured. High machining accuracy, good surface finishing. Outstanding resistance to breakage. Original factory production, not outsourcing. DESCRIPTION
https://www.graptek.com/products/hp-graphite-electrode.html HP Graphite Electrode is the conducting element for electric arc furnaces steelmaking. It is made of petroleum coke, needle coke, coal pitch and produced by a series of strict production processes. High-current lines insert through the graphite electrode port inside the furnace body. This will releases electric energy in the arc furnace to heat the furnace.
The demand for the larger diameter electrodes has been increasing as EAF furnace sizes become larger. Graphite electrodes with diameter of 500 mm or 600 mm have become increasingly popular in recent years.
FEATURE Anti-oxidation treatment for longevity. High-purity, high-density, strong chemical stability. High machining accuracy, good surface finishing. High mechanical strength, low electrical resistance. Resistant to cracking & spalling. High resistance to oxidation and thermal shock. APPLICATION Graphite electrodes are widely used for production of alloy steels, metal and other nonmetallic materials, etc.

DESCRIPTION
https://www.graptek.com/products/uhp-graphite-electrode.html UHP Graphite Electrode is used for the recycling of steel in the electric arc furnace industry. Its main ingredient is high-value needle coke which is made from either petroleum or coal tar. Graphite electrodes are finished with a cylinder shape and machined with threaded areas at each end. In this way, the graphite electrodes can be assembled into an electrode column using electrode nipple.
In order to meet the requirement of higher work efficiency and lower total cost, large capacity ultra-high power arc furnaces are becoming more and more popular. Because of this, UHP graphite electrodes with diameters of over 500 mm will dominate market.
FEATURE Withstand large currents, high discharge rate. Good dimension stability, not easy to deform. Resistant to cracking & spalling. High resistance to oxidation and thermal shock. High mechanical strength, low electrical resistance. High machining accuracy, good surface finishing. APPLICATION Graphite electrodes are widely used for production of alloy steels, metal and other nonmetallic materials, etc.
