Day #130 of Bobby's fight with AML. So, as far as we know Bobby will be discharged tomorrow. He will have lab work in the morning and may need platelets and/or potassium. If he doesn't need either he will be discharged, if he does he will leave afterwards. He is feeling better but still fatigued. His labs for today are: WBC 2.4 H/H 7.8/23.5 Platelets 15, ANC 1382 Creatinine 1.02 Blasts none seen since July 17, Was 4. He is looking forward to going to bake cookies with 4 of the grandkids. He loves to bake and they love his molasses cookies. This will be a treat for all of us. We have been out of the loop lately and missed lots of stuff. Praying this last chemo will keep Bobby feeling good for awhile. Thank you all for the love you have shown us. We are very grateful for all of you. Bobby's fight with AML.

Day #114 of Bobby's fight with AML. Today we had a great report. Clinic days are sometimes hard as depending on his lab work we may be there most of the day. Today Bobby got his PICC line taken out. YAY! It's been his constant companion since March 10th when they put it in for him in ICU. There was concern about an infection possibly developing in it. He's been scratching it at night in his sleep and even scratched off the bandaging. So, for now he is free to shower without covering his arm. Dr. Singavi told us the first two cycles of these shots are the hardest, after that he should have an easier time each month. The hope is this will buy Bobby an extra 2 years! I pray that happens. My biggest prayer is for a complete healing, a miracle! I KNOW GOD can and either way I will praise HIM. Labs today: WBC - 4.0 ANC - 1.8 Hemo - 8.6 Platelets - 50 Please continue to pray for Bobby. We know our prayer warriors are covering him. We are so grateful! We return weekly to the hospital for clinic days. Bobby got his ice cream cone after we left the hospital. Day #47 of Bobby's fight with AML. Blood work & PICC line dressing change today. Tomorrow 3 doctor appointments. So grateful for the Hoptel. Sure couldn't make the drive 2 days in a row. He just had dinner. 🌶 Chilis donates dinner each night to ppl staying here. How cool is that? Not the Fisher house where I stayed, but clean & safe & they are very kind.
