I think I'm gonna reread the Graceling series. There are few stories that are so profoundly about recovering from abuse as these ones are, and they're just absolutely wonderful. Each book provides a different angle on it, but that are all extremely heartfelt. They are sad and hopeful and pierce me to my core

reading a graceling realm book is like. i am going to rub you raw. i am going to strip you down and expose your weakest, most shameful parts, and i am going to see you. i am going to exfoliate you. i am going to wrap you in the softest, gentlest, kindest hug while you let out the longest, deepest breath you didn’t know you had within you.

My Seasparrow hopes/predictions:

we don’t know the plot yet so these might be dead wrong buuut im hopeful

Predictions

SEAsparrow so my guess is a voyage/boat/pirate situation?

Someone loses something important (idk y’all I’m just guessing)

WAR. Probably war, that was heavily hinted at in the end of Winterkeep

Someone dies (I’m hoping not but it’s always possible)

More world building is kind of a given with any new book but I’m predicting it anyway

Hopes

Lesbian Hava confirmation 🤩 and perhaps a partner for her

We get to learn the name of another one of Po’s brothers (or maybe all of them? idk why I just have been dying to know)

More Hava and Giddon banter bc i love their friendship

Randa finally croaks/is removed from the throne and we get King Raffin PLEASE

More Skye/Saf

Either Bitterblue/Giddon wedding OR they’re already married and we get a cute scene of them being domestic (if you don’t like them keep it to yourself 😌)

Po and Katsa cameo? Please. I need my besties back even just for a second

Also Hava and Bitterblue being cute sisters bc they deserve familial love
