I'm honoured that you would be willing to kill me to save yourself.
I’ll do it myself, if it comes to that, I promise. If only to save my own ears. [He grinned cheekily.]

I don't doubt that. I guess kids have huge imaginations, so they'd have no trouble wrapping their heads around all the things you write.
Curfew is in an hour.
Oh, I don’t think they’d be confused. They’d probably love the stories as much as I did when I was little. Lorcan was a little more skeptical than me, I think.

Oh Merlin. That sounds terrible. I sincerely hope if I ever become that person that someone will put me out of my misery [She chuckled.]
Never, ever. Let’s just hope we’re not like that when we’re hold. Making everyone listen to awful music and talking about the ‘good old times’ non-stop.

I know. I almost got stuck under it with one of Vormund's lackeys the other day. I practically dove out of the way to avoid it!
Has anyone else been actively avoiding mistletoe?
For some reason it seems as if it pops up in the most random places this year.

In that case, we're never going to hear the end of it, are we?
What is it with this song and Christmas? And all the old ladies just love it. It probably reminds them of their youth…

[The events of the day had set Grace on edge, and while the kissing was helping, her mind was still whirling a little bit. Being close to Lorcan was helping calm her down, but her nerves were still a little bit frayed. As he deepened the kiss she smiled and began to kiss him back fiercely, letting her worries go and trying to forget everything but this moment.]

Oh my Godric, me too. I'm starting to wish I was deaf...
If I hear one more Celestina Warbeck song, I’m going to strangle someone! Seriously, that cauldron song seems to be everywhere these days.

I'm sure kids would love that. They'd be confused, probably, but the little ones seem to love the creative stuff.
Curfew is in an hour.
Yes, he’s finally talked me into writing about our travels. I think I might write Children’s books about Nargles and wrackspurts and blibbering humdingers.

[She said nothing, just kissed him back. She knew there was probably nothing she could find, but it wouldn't stop her from trying, at least not a little bit. Then again, she really didn't mind him teasing her about kids a bit. It was sweet, and innocent, and if he didn't cut it out by the time they actually had kids... Well, she was a witch after all, and wands were meant to be used. Only a harmless spell though, something that would be guaranteed to make them both laugh. She smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around him.]

Well, we can't have that. I'll stop being nosy, I don't really like the idea of Caron killing you. A book? Really? That's amazing!
Curfew is in an hour.
Caron might kill me, at that. Although I think I might be writing a book about our travels, which will explore some of the odd things we’ve been a part of while visiting more remote tribes in different countries.

Uh-huh. Open book my arse. There's got to be something... I just need time to think of what it is. And if I can think of anything, there's always other stuff to use against you.

I'm pretty sure the ones I'd like to hear are the ones that are going to scar me for life, so you can honestly tell me just about anything.
Curfew is in an hour.
I’m not sure which ones you’d like and which ones would scar you for life, honestly.

We most definitely are. We're happy, and after all the crap we got as kids, I think that's the most important part. And the two of them are a big part of that.
True. There is no point. But we still can’t help it sometimes, can we? But I’m really grateful for those two. They saved the both of us. And look at us now. Neither Death Eaters, nor working for the Ministry. I think we’re doing pretty good.

Oh, well I'm going to have to start checking in with you to see what he's doing. I don't fancy being on his bad side.
Oh no, I'm fine

Not a chance. [She laughed and gently pushed him.] You know this means I'm going to have to find something else and use it against you, right?
