Hey guys, just wanted to pop on by and say that I’m probably going to be deleting this blog in a few days or so. I’m not sure if you guys are aware, but Andrea’s one of my smaller RP blogs and though I only have a few, I can barely keep up with one as it is. It seems that my mind is very bad when it comes to hopping around blogs and I don’t want any of you to keep on having to wait for me to reply to something small; I can barely do that on my main blog as it is oTL
Anyways, it was really great threading with all of you and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll leave this blog up for a few more days before closing it, so that nobody wonders what happened to the thread. Thanks! You guys are awesome <3

She had expected the sound of a gun going off, or perhaps the blunt chops of a blade, something to tell her that there was another survivor there with her, that this wasn't just another walker. It could've have been a walker, not with the way she had felt the hair on her neck stand up for quite a while; a walker would've pranced the moment it got a sight of her.
What she heard wasn't anything definite, but it was different than the typical noises of the forest, something she had grown accustomed to after days on end. It sounded like a faint snap, followed by a quick thud and before she knew it, she found herself staring at a dead walker and the person that had killed it.
Part of her wanted to go see if the person was okay, especially given that they had fallen from a decent distance, but something prevented her from taking even one step closer. Creases marred her forehead as she frowned, thinking about how she felt as if she was being watched the whole time, as if somebody was keeping an eye on her for a reason.
Her eyes narrowed suspiciously. With a few determined steps, she was hovering above the woman, gun pulled out. "Who are ya?"
Andrea and Lilith - Zombie!AU
Lilith watched the blonde below her as she froze and looked for the direction of the being in her company. She smiled, enjoying the added bonus that being apt at stalking people and hunting things in her life before the Outbreak.
Her eyes scanned over the provisions that the woman was carrying. The bag was smaller than Lilith would have liked, but there was bound to be some sort of food or weaponry inside. The knife at her hip wasn’t too shabby either.
Silently, she cocked her bow and drew the string, aiming one of the arrows that she had recently looted from a near by camping shop at the back of the woman’s neck. The puffy ball of alpaca fur that was tied to the string to reduce the “THWACK” noise tickled her collarbone. She let out her breath slowly to steady her aim.
Just as she was about to send the arrow to its mark, she heard a rustling noise, followed by the unintelligible grumble that was unmistakably a Walker. She felt herself slip off the thin branch as she spun to find this new target, and only just managed to send the arrow through the beasts head as she fell to the ground.

It was a sad truth that she had saw long ago within her own group, especially when they first started out. She couldn't help but to wonder whether it was naive of them to think that they were always going to stay together, that nobody would get hurt and that everybody would be able to make it through to the next day. Of course, Amy's death and the death of many others had rudely awakened her to the harsh reality of it all.
"Regretfully, I've seen it too," Andrea admitted with a sigh, eyes downcast as she thought about all those she had encountered during this whole ordeal. "We've lost a lot, though things only got bad, really, when we settled down." The words just kept on flowing out of her, though she knew better than to reveal everything to a stranger she had just met only minutes ago. Perhaps it was the loneliness that had done this to her, made her eager to share something with anybody.
"Anyways, I suppose that it would be easier without such a large crowd to travel with. Safety in numbers, but only if everything's operating smoothly." She nodded, as if assuring herself more than Tara, finally leveling her gaze with the other woman's.
"Both peas in a pod, if you wanna leave it as that." A small smile came onto her face. "Say we try our hand at finding a place. The both of us? Two pairs of eyes on the lookout's better than one." The part about fending off loneliness was left unsaid.
Come together / Andrea & Tara
Tara nodded a bit and crossed her arms under her chest, looking the woman over a bit. For her to survive on her own after being dependent on a group, she had to be good, or at least careful. It was nice to talk to someone after so long.
“There used to be. When this all start, whole families were together. I’m not one to put down roots, though, so I’d go from group to group. Turns out, that familial bond isn’t quite as loyal as soon think. Families, groups, would implode, and only a few survivors would walk away,” Tara said, shrugging slightly. After seeing it happen a few times, she had gotten over the shock of it.
This woman seemed bitter and upset about her group. Maybe she had family, or maybe she was just lonely. Either way, she seemed relieved to have someone to talk to. Tara could relate, knowing how lonely it got, days on end of nothing but yourself.
Shaking her head a bit, she looked back to the woman. “Looks like we’re both in a predicament here. You don’t know where to go, I’m looking for a place to stay, and we both want to live,” she said, glancing around. “Any thoughts?”

It was comforting to be able to actually converse with somebody without questioning her sanity, something she had been doing every time she got bored and struck a conversation with herself. The handshake was tangible evidence that she wasn't alone anymore and that thought, alone, was satisfying enough.
"Sounds a lot of other relationships, so I guess the world hasn't completely gone in flames yet." She shook her head in acknowledgement. "You don't know how glad I am to see somebody else. As you've said, the dead make rather poor company and their conversational skills are quite lacking." Her lips curved into a small smile, though it quickly subsided as the sudden stretch brought back a familiar sting to her mouth.
She inwardly flinched at the question, the thought of having to answer about how she had been left behind leaving a bitter taste in her mouth and an irrational burn to her eyes. It was strange to think that it had been...days? weeks? since she had been separated from her group--her friends--and she had yet to accept it.
"Used to," Andrea replied, giving her a small nod. "We got ambushed by walkers and I wasn't able to get back to them on time. I guess I should be thankful that I'm still alive at this point." She tilted her head to the side, regarding Tara curiously. "You jumped group to group, you said? That mean that there's plenty of others out there? Like us?"
Come together / Andrea & Tara
Waiting to see the woman’s response, Tara was relieved that she hadn’t taken to her with the hostility she had seen from so many in the past. Not that their fear wasn’t warranted, but very few people held any sort of kindness, humor, even humanity anymore. Once the woman played off of her joke, she smiled a bit. Putting her own hands on her hips, more of a relaxed posed than one of attitude, she let out a small sigh.
“Can’t live with ‘em, can’t get ‘em to stay dead long enough to live without,” she said before taking a step closer, extending her hand. “Tara, and not a problem. Not enough of the living left to let one just walk into something like that.” Not that she would have let her die anyways, but that was another story.
Tara shrugged a bit at the woman’s question. “I’ve been on my own since way before this all started, and ever since. Bounced from group to group, but never stuck around for anything. How about you?” she asked. Most people assumed that each survivor was on their own. To ask about a group told her this woman had already been in one. What it didn’t tell her was how Andrea had been separated from them, which was a rather key point of information.

I humbly apologize for my lack of activity. Apparently, running anything beyond one rp blog is too much for my mind to handle, really. I believe that I have gotten out all the replies that I owe, except for one, which I'm currently working on? If you have replied, please let me know! I generally check my notifications, but it could be that I missed something.

There was that sensation again, the bone-chilling feeling of being watched by something that was definitely not a squirrel and already, she could hear the blood rushing through her ears as her body began to dump adrenaline into her system.
Andrea cursed underneath her breath. She thought she had been thorough in avoiding any walkers in the area, not wanting to risk having to waste her ammunition, but apparently, she had been wrong. Fingers already fumbling for her hunting blade, she remained still, only moving around to keep watch of her surroundings.

She had only been in the woods for so long and already, her stomach was growling at her, threatening to become a hassle if she didn't find any food soon. As she moved through the trees, careful of any roots that liked to snake across the forest floor, Andrea felt a tinge of regret from never joining her father on his hunting trips. Perhaps, if she had actually taken a lesson from him, she wouldn't have been in this predicament, desperately scouring the area for any morsel to eat.
Around her, wildlife continued to dart by her, as if mocking her attempts at trying to catch them and she uttered a curse in response to their chitter, eyes trying to pick out their movements, but to not avail.
A trap seemed to be a sensible thing to do, though that would mean that she would have to leave it to luck to land her something to eat, and with her limited knowledge, she doubted that her trap would even be effective enough to catch something worthwhile. That left her with the option of having to manually bring something down and in order to do that, she'd have to find something first.
As if to further add injury to insult, the forest suddenly went quiet, a sign that there was something out there with her and whatever it was, it was most likely not to be something she could eat.
Her palms had become sweaty from her tight grip, something she quickly remedied by wiping her hands on her pants, fingers immediately wrapping themselves along her blade handle as soon as they were dried. If it was a walker, she'd have to move fast to ensure that it was brought down before the risk of a hoard spiked.
Movements quick, Andrea kept her eyes wide for anything that shifted along the trees, though it never came. Instead, to her bemusement, there was only a dead walker at her feet when she had arrived at the scene, an crossbow bolt lodged into its head.
A bolt.
Mind already putting the pieces together, Andrea did a full spin, trying to see if the owner was anywhere nearby. If she was correct, then the impossible had happened; she had finally found someone from her group.
With His Sword Up, Raised for the Slaughter
The search for his brother had yet to surface any success. Yet, still, the thought remained in his mind. His older brother was alive, of that he was sure. Though seasons arrived and departed, Daryl knew that he would somehow find himself tied back to his brother, one way or another. For now, however, he was faced with a predicament he had yet to overcome. It wasn’t a complicated one, but it did provide its own sets of trials to which the survivor had to face and conquer rather quickly. Separation. Separation from the group. It was hardly something he was fond of, and yet, he also enjoyed the time alone. With crossbow in hand, his growling stomach yearned for some nutrition. The hunt had gone slow so far with little to no success. Squirrels were scattering about, but nowhere near as lively as they should have been. With careful steps, the younger Dixon brother inched forward, bottom of his shoes narrowly missing twigs and branches to snap. Walkers were attracted to any sound possible, the less sound, the better. As he inched around the concealed area, he slowly relaxed. Of course, his senses were still heightened for any small hint of an attack, but there seemed to be no walkers present. At least, none that he could hear or see. Though the sound of twigs snapping brought his attention to a flare. He grabbed his bow, aiming it, eye squinting as he gazed through the cross-hairs. Nothing had fallen between them, but the sound continued. Perhaps it was an animal, but either way, he was going to find out what it was and most likely kill it. Being this far from the group wasn’t something he would be fond of if he were to be attacked by a herd. He shifted back when a stray walker, arms outstretched, jaw hanging loose, headed towards him. Daryl lifted the bow, taking a breath and a step back. His finger pulled the trigger and the arrow went soaring through the air. Only to impale the walker in the left eye, angling up slightly. A straight piercing to the brain. As it fell, Daryl marched over and yanked the arrow out- no need to waste them. As he reloaded his crossbow, he glanced around. There had to be something to eat around here.
