Gqboysclub is back and we are afraid to tell you that this will be our last post. To end it of we have saved the best post for last, this week we will talking about the one and only Cotton Eater, Rikhado 'Riky Rick' Makhado. Arguably the best rapper in South Africa at the moment, he has been making a lot of moves in the past 5 years, he has made a massive improvement. To many people if not all, Riky is now, a rap heavyweight and a fashion icon. The rapper's growth in the industry is very impressive. MUSIC Riky Rick released his first album, Family Values in April 2014. The album has four singles from it, Sondela, Nafukwa, Amatombazane and Boss Zonke. Family Values features South African acts, Okmalumkoolkat, Cassper Nyovest, Zano and last but not least Black Motion. The album was well received by South Africans. After the releases of the album Riky did not take it easy, he then smash hit, Sidlukotini, a song that is loved by the youth mostly, he talks about alot of things some of them being the controversy surrounding award ceremonies, his come up and fashion considering Sidlukotreleased his latest project, Scooby Snacks this year. The projects consists of 3 songs, Oh Lord, Bandz Over Friendz and Family featuring Frank Casino. On the fashion side, the rapper has been associated with powerhouses in the fashion industry, the likes of David Tlale, Young Lord, John Elliot and even Gucci just to name a few. Mr Makhado has been busy, taking over Paris Fashion. In the John Elliot fashion in France he starred as a model alongside the likes of 19 year old, Luka Sabbat. Riky is loved for many things, but one thing that outshines them all to us here at gqboysclub is his love for the youth. He always gives well constructed advise to the future, telling them to use the internet to make their work known to the public because he knows the South African entertainment industry can be a tough nut to crack for newbies trying to get into the game.

Hey beautiful people, we are back again for another week and this we will be talking about rapper, producer, singer and songwriter, Jacques Webster, Jr aka Travis Scott. He was born in the United States, on the 30th of April. MUSIC Travis Scott started his musical journey at the age of 16. His hard work and determination for a better life got him where he is today. He is now an established international artist, he has worked with big names in the industry, heavyweights such as Kanye West, Big Sean, Drake and producer MetroBoomin, he has also released outstanding music, from his mixtapes to his latest album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. Travis has released four official projects. Mixtapes, Owl Pharoah and Days Before Rodeo. Albums, Rodeo and Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight (BITTSM). Gqboysclubs favourites are Days Before Rodeo and BITTSM. Days Before Rodeo was released on the 18th of August in 2014 for free with features including T.I., Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Big Sean and Peewee Longway and Migos.

Sup guys, we are back again for another week, and this time we will be talking about rapper, actor, director, record producer, model prettyflacko himself, the one and only A$AP Rocky. A$AP Rocky's real name is Rakim Meyers, the influencer is from Harlem, a neighbourhood in Manhattan. Rakim was born on the 3rd of October in 1988. Rocky is in A$AP MOB, a hip hop group founded in 2006 by A$AP Yamz, A$AP Bari and A$AP Illz. A$AP MOB was founded in Rocky's neighbourhood, Harlem. Since his entrance to the entertainment in 2007, Rocky has given nothing but good music to jam to, he has also collaborated with big artists such as, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Schoolboy Q, Kanye West and Miguel just to name a few. A$AP Rocky is under record label. A$AP Worldwide, Polo Grounds Music, RCA Records and Sony. Rocky's first official project, the mixtape, Live Love A$AP was released in 2011. His debut project was very impressive, it had the two hit singles, Peso and Purple Swag it led to record labels calling him and asking him to pen a deal but at the time he wasn't interested in signing a deal, he wanted to explore other pursuits. His second project, the album, Long Live A$AP was released in 2013. The album is very nice, infact it is a classic here to us at gqboysclub, it has four singles, and they are Goldie, Fashion Killa, Wild for the Night and F Problems. His first album had good numbers in the first week, it sold 139 000 copies. The album went platinum in April, 2016. His third project, the album, At Long Last A$AP (ALLA) was released in 2015. Gqboysclub still jams to this album to this day, we think it is Rocky's best work to date. The album has three singles and they are LPFJ2, L$D and Everyday. The album went gold in March 2016, just before Long Live A$AP went platinum. #catchusnextweek

Gqboysclub is back for another week and we will be talking about young model, influencer and creative entrepreneur, Luka 'fallback' Sabbat. Luka was born on the twenty sixth of November in 1997. Mr Sabbat was bought into the world by a fashion family, his father is a fashion designer, his grandmother is an interior decorator and his mom was a fashion stylist, she's now a chef. Before all the fame, Luka was not interested in fashion, he did not like the camera. He spent some of his time playing video games and skating around the city with his friends. The young influencer has an outstanding portfolio, he services have been requested by fashion powerhouses like, Dolce and Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Raf Simons and Adidas Originals just to name a few. Here at gqboysclub we expect to see Luka becoming one of, if not, the biggest name in the fashion industry, his personaltiy and style allow him to. The model has been making boss moves for as long as we can remember. At 19, Mr Fallback has just bought a building for his HOTMESS hustle. #catchusnextweek

Sup beautiful people across the world, gqboysclub is back and today we will be talking about record label, OVO Sound. OVO Sound is based in the capital city of Canada, Toronto. It was founded by canadian rapper Drake and his long friend and producer Oliver '40' Shebib in 2012. The record label's distributors are Warner Bros. Records and WEA International. Before all the fame, OVO Sound was named All Things Fresh and the label's first unofficial project, Room For Improvement was released in 2006 and it was Drake's first mixtape. OVO Sound's roster has world class artists. Artists who make world class music too. The most popular in the stable being Drake himself, Partynextdoor, dvsn, Roy Woods, producer, 40 and gqboysclub favourite Majid Jordan. OVO Sound has come a long way since 2012, the stable is not only targeting the music industry. The record label also takes their merchandise, OVO Clothing to a whole different level, the label has opened stores in Canada, United States and the UK. Every year the label also hosts their annual OVO Fest in Toronto. The festival takes place on the Civic Holiday weekend. Headliners at OVO Fest are artists from the stable and International artists like as Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Jay Z and many other artists. Drake is also a generous friend to his industry mates, allowing rappers J Cole, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and Cardi B. On Apple Music the label has introduced OVO Sound Radio, the show is airs on Beats1 on Saturday every two weeks. The show is very big and fans are really loving it as every single show premiers at least one song. #catchusnextweek

Sup guys, this week gqboysclub will talking about the much anticipated Calabasas collection dropped earlier this year by Adidas Originals and rapper Kanye West. In September 2016, Mr West and almost every Kardashian was spotted wearing trackpants from the collection. At YEEZY Season 5's showcase in New York City, he revealed even more pieces from the collection. Until now, Adidas Originals and West have been serving up nothing but silence, but thanks to media powerhouses, Hypebeast and Highsnobiety keeping everyone updates as they were keeping tabs on the collection's progress. Adidas and Mr West have decided to bring a classic feel to this collection as it is very different from the first five collections, Yeezy Season 1 to 5. Mr West was inspired by the 80s - 90s era on this one, the collection's sneaker was inspired by an Adidas sneaker released in the 80s era and the logo was inspired by a youth soccer camp sponsored by Adidas in 1992. The Calabasas collection has been making waves on social media. A$AP Nast and Internet kids, Gullyguyleo and Luka 'fallback' Sabbat have shared pictures on Instagram in the collection, and with the three being insta famous, the pictures have spread across the world, trending in places like Japan, Italy, South Africa and of course the United States. The Collection's most hyped up item has to be the YEEZY Powerphase sneaker. The drop has 6 products and they include.
