I agree that's it's easier to draw something in front of you. Though emotional pieces don't need that, but eh, I didn't want to draw an emotional piece right now.

They turn their paper around again and continue outlining.

Drawing a subject when just drawing for fun is nice. I could've also drawn the other teens or Aquamarine. But you've been fun to draw, so I don't really mind.

She smiles softly.

There's plenty of other things I could've done instead of just drawing, too. I have a few items that probably should get some stitches or straight up replaced.

Mainly what I was wearing for months, because we didn't have time to change. When we were going from so many different realms.

She sighs.

I'll probably do it later. I've started working to pay for stuff for Aquamarine, which is nice. I have some extra money that I made.

I have some saved up and might spend a bit for some new clothes since I need to replace some of the more destroyed items of mine.

Those tights had seen better days. Same with that jacket and my shirt. Honestly, that whole outfit, besides the shoes, has seen better days.

Which does make sense, multiple fireballs right to the body probably would cause the outfit to start burning up.

Along with my whole body, I guess! I still need to show Hermie how to hide a burn mark with makeup. I've been good about it right now. But I don't know how long until my mom sees the full extent.

She looks at Galaxy.

Right... I mean, it's cool. You'd never need hair dye to change your hair color.

You could have short or long hair. Be as tall or short as you want. That's cool.

She goes back to her sketching, grabbing her outline pen to start outlining it already.

You'd never have a bad hair day. Can't mess makeup up when you could just shapeshift it on.

That's cool. Honestly a bit jealous.

It is. And it sucks that they're busy.

But learning by yourself is great... you aren't forced to do things their way. You're allowed to make mistakes without disappointing them.

She frowns. They look at their sketch, before looking back at Galaxy.

I have a question.

Why does your hair seem to change every time I see you? The last time we spoke in person, it was short and probably no longer than under the ear. And now it's probably as long as my hair when its down.

Or the fact appearance wise, besides the hair? you change too. Your eyes stay the same, usually, but you might have a bit of a height difference, or you have freckles sometimes.

They look at Galaxy confused.

I've been doing well. Staying out of trouble. I'm trying to figure out how to hide burns from my mom.

She takes Galaxy's hand and brings him to her room. They look at where they left Aquamarine.

She's still there... good.

Aquamarine just meows at the two of them.

Okay, so let me grab my paper. And some pens. And pencils. I got art supplies.

Used to draw a lot. Then I stopped.

They sigh.

Just had no motivation to draw, plus no subject I wanted to.

Now I could draw Aquamarine.

She starts grabbing her art supplies out, making sure to grab something hard for them to draw on and not have to sit at the desk. Since she only has one chair.

I mainly do poems now. Find them a good outlet for emotions. Maybe drawing would be good for that too.

They hand Galaxy a piece of paper, a pencil and an eraser. She looks at Galaxy.

That's all you'll need for starting. Don't worry about actually coloring it until you have an idea down. Got it?

They say firmly before heading to the front door. She opens it, looking at Galaxy, noticing the fact Galaxy's hair was in a similar style to how her hair normally is.

She chuckles awkwardly. They sigh.

So, come on in? Honestly, I haven't hanged out with somebody in a while. So I don't know what to do? We could... draw? I have paper!
