Would you mind saying which elements are these? I did not read those, but I read all the books.

For example, Armand and Louis still being “together” in 1973 was from a version of Anne’s original draft. The Louis suicide involving Armand was an alternate universe of the original Merrick draft. The trial being a final play directed by Armand was from one of Anne’s original drafts for the movie. Claudia being a performer at the theater was from Anne’s original draft of the book.

The writers have said they have access to the Tulane archives, and Rolin has said they have Anne’s Facebook posts curated from which to draw inspiration.

okay but what if claudia and madeleine lived and got away from it all and were there own coven. what if claudia and madeleine became the two strange women who have lived at the end of the road for as long as anyone can remember. what if they became the people kids make local legends around, and claudia laughs at their misconceptions and is reminded of watching nosferatu for the first time. what if the residents know something strange and disturbing is happening to passers-through staying in their hotels and motels and b&b's, travellers turning pale and anaemic overnight and leaving in the morning lightheaded and confused, but decide not to think too hard about it so long as their own kids are unharmed.
